This analogy is only getting more and more inaccurate. Arsenal and Man u are two very different teams it's not even worth going into. Let alone the fact that the players are very different. you can't possibly believe that because sanchez went from barca to arsenal that Falcao should be able to go from monaco to man u and play amazingly. But it's obviously implied that the judgement is relative to the level at which one individual is evolving, and what we expect from him. When someone says "FlaSh is mediocre", he OBVIOUSLY doesn't mean "yo he so bad he'd lose to a NA diamond trololo", nor "he'd totally lose to B4 playing with his feet", he means "FlaSh is mediocre relatively to the other players he's put in competition with, that is, the top players of ProLeague, players of the likes of herO, Bogus, sOs, Maru, ByuL, Stats, Life, etc". That is exactly kinda what a slump is though. A once great player takes a huge dip in form that is a slump and he is playing mediocore.

you're not taking into account how good the opposition is. Football is different in too many ways for this to accurately carry over, but losing a few bo1's over a round of proleague doesn't make you worse. I give the credit to Flash's opponents.

If i looked at the number of games to goals of falcao and then made a judgement what does that add? It certainly would not tell the story of all of the football games. no that is what I aim for. I can't stop people criticising nor do I care, I simply would like to steer the conversation in that direction so that next time it comes up (i.e tomorrow) it isn't just 'slump slump slump' and it's actually looking at the game.
