I remember IEM Cologne in 2012, just before the tournament Blizzard said that they wanted to buff Terran, Mvp wins easily the tournament, two days later Blizzard announced that they don't want to buff Terran anymore. | ||

The strongest broodlord deathball wasn't as hard to beat as deathballs of T/P these days. Everybody that doesn't understand the game can easily say that infestor broodlord was broken but all you saw at that point was zergs barely defending for 15 minutes to get to that composition because there was no other way to win. Broodlord infestor was the same necessity as swarmhosts and now that they are gone, zerg has nothing to fall back on. | ||

The thing is, Korean PvZ is at a point where most games aren't decided by SH play, so the nerf loses significance there. On the other hand, all mech vs Zerg is somewhat reliant on SH play at this point (unless one player dies before SH come out), which is terrible. But then, mech is not prevalent with top Korean TvZ players even though it was already really good pre-patch. So I'm not sure this will be like BL/infestor bad in the Korean scene, but it probably has massive influence on the foreign scene. But maybe Snute has everything figured out and is just waiting to show us. I kinda doubt it and think Blizzard will have to readjust. | ||

Zerg in Korea has been relying mostly on timings (why everyone is doing the 2-base roach into roach/hydra/viper there as well) that either kill or cripple P enough to kill him. bad luck vs Gungfu Nerchio, I hope you qualify at some point or another ^^ | ||
