Discussion of Naniwa's mental health (unless you know him personally or you email me your phd diploma) after page 96 will be dealt with severely. I suggest you talk about the games instead. |
LoL... seriously people... So much time has been wasted on trying to talk about Naniwa's Mental health which is actually called his "personality" then talking about all the games yesterday.
It was alot of fun watching the stream yesterday because deep down all of you want to see more Naniwa whether you love or hate him you still want to see him play.
Think about it he had taken a HUGH break... sure he was playing occasionally, but for the most part he wasnt practicing as much. It is awsome that he still has to skill to actually power through the qualifiers and beat very good people.
GG Naniwa and keep playing!

Punishments are given to players for things they do inside the game (i.e yellow card for yelling at the referee for too long), not on the postgame lobby...

I love how this thread is actually 4 times bigger than the other EU Qualifier threads.
WP Naniwa.

I don't think you need to be polite to be a player. And I understand the passion and heat of such a moment. If you felt there was smth fishy going on.. you would not keep your temper. Nobody would. There is a lot on the line. Have you heard of any soccer player calmly walking to the ref and asking him "Sorry to bother you mate, but I do think I was touching the ball and don't think you should give them that free kick. But only if it's okay with you?" Please.. think about what you demand from players after the first 40min, high tension match. Well, and what happens in football when you walk up to the referee and start complaining too much and for too long? ![[image loading]](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FLRK9WlpDlE/UV-C0IJbjuI/AAAAAAAAAQE/K9oNSx6K7DA/s1600/pemain+menerima+kartu+kuning.jpg) And if you do it twice or continue to talk shit you are a gonner. People aren't gentlemen in other sports either, but when they aren't, they get some punishment for it. Noone's demanding that players must not be passionate and get emotional, it would just be nice if at some point we would have an authority step in and say: "ok, we've heard you. Now it's enough, get back to playing." Do you realise why people mustn't complain in soccer? The referee can't change anything about his decision after he called it, it's completely irrelevant what the player says or does. Even if he had a video of the incident that just happened the referee couldn't change his decision. The solution in this case was as simple as telling the russian stream to put up a delay. And Naniwa asked for them to leave because they didn't have the delay... I don't see a problem with that. Your premise is wrong. The referee can't change anything about his decision after he called it, it's completely irrelevant what the player says or doesThat is just not true. There is a famous case from German Bundesliga where the referee gave a penalty and then the supposed to be fouled player told the referee that it wasn't a foul and the referee withdrew his decision and the game continuued without a penalty.
the case you describe is a very special one (schweinsteiger?) that does not work for a comparison. in your case the "complaint" was coming from the side which was in benefit of the call.
the other way around there is only two ways this can be handled: if the referee interrupts the game, in case of revision, a drop ball is in order. otherwise, the whole game might have to be replayed (depending on the arbitration comittee's decision).
a referee must not change his decision in favor of the complaining team.

bottom line: the community (neither fans nor the other side) has no say in what happens to naniwa when it comes to sanctions due to his behavior. this is how it should be. if WCS sees any reason for suspending naniwa, then they are free to do so. however, their decision has to be based on solid evidence regarding violation of specific rules. in the "professional world", there is no place for "outcry"-culture. players should not be banned just because some people on the internet feel offended.

I haven't watched SC2 in many months because my favorite players no longer play but after hearing about NaNiWa (unforunately I had to work while he played yesterday) qualifying, I will definitely be watching more, specifically him.

so bottomline
that one particular stream was NOT on a 5 minute delay, when it should have been right?
so Naniwa was in the right (atleast regarding the stream)
perhaps not about accusing Happy though

I was banned from GOODGAME.ru forever by unmanner , but i cant keep it myself . They really unadekvate and awful players and people, who can only talk s*it . I was always been flamed by every Russian caster , every game , every time . I hate em so much .
They dont like my level of playing They dont like who i am They dont like fact of i still playing They dont like fact of i win their favourites like Happy . They say like : OMG verdi is retard noob , he shouldn't win there .
It has been started on 2013 IEM Katowice , where russian caster ADOLF came me on interview and humilated me on public ( told he will figure out with clean hands , if i will no answer the questions on interview ) . It was a little bit earlier , after russian IEM-Casters flamed my 2-base style of playing , told that 2-base disgusting , unprofessional , shame of Russia .
I told like - f*ck you guys , i dont care of rus retards like Adolf . Than they came in katowice and humilated me , i lost after that cuz bad mental shape i had also got punishment by esl because it ( Russian casters made a cooperate request to esl for they punish me , ESL trustem THEM , NOT TO PLAYER ! ) /
After that there was a lot more situation .
For example next one is Battle of Four . After i won the tournament 3-1 over Empire.Happy in finals , Empire.Stranger tryed of his best for admins not pay me my prize moneys . He told like " THIS GUY UNSPORTIVE , let's take he's moneys to Happy " . I just made some show after my win to my fans , nothing bm or etc. , and i got respond like this .
Expect of my personal sponsor Gerich , (Who is very respectful man in Russia at all ), Russian sc2-community represented not by Bad Manners or something , it represented by rats who ready to make a stab from back any time .
Things like stream-playing , maphacking and other is very compitent in Russia . From top-10 russia aligulac there are at least 6 players regulary doing this . I lost so many games to this guys , and that never ends . It will be always so . Get care when u deal with Russian-sc2 scene .
And most dangerous in this in my opinion about dealing with is
Sc2tv.ru ( Adolf , Alex007 and other streamer connected with ) Goodgame.ru ( unrespect to players who stream for their portal for 3 years , banned me and flaming every stream ) p.s. currently i streaming on twitch Empire.Stranger of himself And EmpireTV For sure And any other player and person , who u dont know personally , will be always under risk of back-play .
So i really respect Naniwa for he's such a decent behaviour yesterday . That the thing unprofessional Rus-sc2-scene deserve
P.S. most part of my bad-manner and Nothing-to-lose behaviour is belong to Russian Scene , which made from young wc3-player Verdi - derelict of last instance in sc2 .
I don't want to dismiss what you're saying but these are some very serious allegations, do you have any level of proof to back your words up? Logs/Screenshots/Replays. Unless there's something to show for, it is word versus word and no real conclusions can be drawn.

@Verdi: Needs to be a blog (with actual proof)

ye blank accusations and "i hate it even more than you guys" i don't feel like this thread has been a hate train towards russian sc2 scene. we might as well make it though.
also found it quite hilarious that you capslocked adolf the first time you wrote it.
so yeah overall i feel like you need to back this up first until then it sounds like they are making fun of you and you are rightfully upset about it

Pretty much. Did Naniwa accuse him directly though? Or is it just referring to the tweet where he said something along the lines 'You're only a low level master player without the stream' AFTER he got called mentally-ill? Because if someone would say something like this about me I would probably attack back, too.

Well you can find a history of my conflict with sc2tv and adolf on esl site and reddit i think , that was total public . U can also be sure i banned from goodgame forever . I cant give any prooves about EmpireStranger , but i know the players from Empire who didnt get their salarys after played in that team , but they might be wont proof thinks like this . Also i sign that its not about allegations , i can have free to say ( and even my big context of blog moove to Naniwa's victory ) so i can put it there . Other things is for you to decide guys , im exhausted with all that stuff of my home scene , where i become the object of jokes and negatives everytime i play 2base all-in or win someone of their favourites

My favorite thing is for the brief minute when it looked like he might have a stable 4-5 base income and be maxed, he started making Stargate tech.
But he didn't stick to it after they traded armies and he then continued to focus on stalker collusus. I noticed that too. Was asking myself first why he made the stargate and then no units from it, then I smiled as I realized it takes a good player to make a decision like that. There was no need to change a winning tactic, even if he'd spent some money on the new tech. What game was it? Nani v Happy G1?
Yeps, that's the one.

How is this starting a fire? He's in his right to be upset about a stream having 0 delay. He doesn't even mention Happy or directly accuse him. I would have been pissed off too, and I think if this is the worst you can dig up that Nani said, you're really running on fumes.
