Hmm. That's pretty accurate actually

Discussion of Naniwa's mental health (unless you know him personally or you email me your phd diploma) after page 96 will be dealt with severely. I suggest you talk about the games instead.

It's pretty obvious Naniwa brings the attention this game needs. More power to him. Hope to see him crush more hopes on his way to the finals.

He provokes 99% of it. If you like Nani and support him do it. But dont defend him because most of the time he is the one that starts the problem. Just makes you look silly. The shit he spouts isnt defendable. He played some good games though. And yeah he was laddering a lot and is top gm Blablabla I say, I didn't like Kas "raping some girl", and I will of course be triggered when someone straight up calls Naniwa a piece of shit. But what exactly are you defending? His toxic commets? The bs he spouts and all the false accusations? Its sad because he is so talented. I said i am happy to see him being back in tournamets because talentwise he is agreat addition to the european scene. I am gonna stay with this and wait. Maybe he stops being a little kid for once. Like i said its a no brainer for me how one can defend the way he acts because he is actually behaving like a piece of... Is it really that hard to imagine that some people don't like player bashing? No i am just saying there is a reason nani is being bashed. Like its really hard to defend someone from bashing when that same person is bm to almost everyone and writes insulting tweets. No surprise lots of people dislike him and that other pros bash him too. So? There's always a reason behind player bashing. I'm not comfortable deciding who has good reasons and who doesn't. *sigh* I guess we should leave it at that since this is going nowhere I disagree. Look, Happy said in an interview that terran players are so much better than the other races that in a balanced game they would win everytime, so Blizzard can't make the game really balanced. Is it ok to player bash him because of that? Cause that certainly makes me dislike him. Should I be allowed to write a variant of that post 20 times every time he plays? If we put Naniwa behind a line, who draws the line? I agree with you here. If we would be in 2011, the last few sites would have been full of temp-bans. Heavily critizising players based on actual events is one thing, but that usually shouldn't include "piece of shit" or "autism". I want to make sure, noone misunderstands my following rant: I do not support Naniwas accusations against Happy and I think he those were unneccesary. I'll still support him as a fan in the future, but I'll not be part of a discussion about this particular incident. However, regardless of the Happy-incident, I think that Naniwa in general is getting to much hate for everything he does, which would gain noone else the same amout (just take a look at the example from earlier today: Harstem doesn't want to get casted: totally fine [which it is]; Naniwa does the same: 3-page-shitstorm [although it should also be totally fine]). I can understand, why some people might dislike Naniwa and, while I do not share those feelings, I can also tolerate, why they would voice them. And that as well should be their rights here as forum users. However, having a dislike towards a player does not give anyone the right to throw shit at him for no reason at all or post totally worthless one-liners, who are lacking any content. So, to come to my main point: This is not the twitch chat of a 10k viewer stream. This is not the ingame-chat of a lost LoL-game in soloQ. We are on TL here and for years we held ourselves to a higher standart than other places and for years this site and this community were acclaimed for being an island of civilization in the otherwise barbaric internet. So could we please just stop the madness and studidity, that gets brought here every time, when something happens, we do not 100% agree with? Could we please begin to behave like adults again, even if stuff happens, that makes us salty? And I don't mean to completely stop to complain, but just stop to write random bullshit, that is not worthy of being on TL.

Pretty much. He wanted all streamers gone because he heard some didn't have any/not enough delay. By WCS rules he's allowed to do this, but Basetrade was allowed to stay (likely because they have a large delay).

He went as far as calling out Happy for streamcheating. That's more than being douchy in my eyes. Nani was right when he complained about the Russian stream having no delay.

edit: not just career. It's their livelihood. Many of these kids have basically nothing else going for them. This is how they either determine years were wasted or finally put to use.

It might be helpful if we just left Naniwa to his own devices - but no. we have to shitpost about him being mentally ill. autism isn't a mental illness. it's the reason why Naniwa excels at sc2. it's also the reason why Naniwa sucks so hard at having a "nice" personality. the only way around this is to accept him for who he is - a brilliant player who has severe communication difficulties. Oh come on. I know 2 people with classic autistic disorders and they're not acting like NaNiwa at all. That doesn't mean that he doesn't have the disorder but being an ass has nothing to do with it. Please.
