If you look at it, that's one of the toughest brackets we've seen in a while. This.
An impressive run by Life. What a beast.
Watching Life throughout the tournament was awesome. He had answers for everything, always producing the right units at the right time and picking the right battles.

Whoa, so you are judging the performance of MMA and Life without even having watched the match? http://www.twitch.tv/wcs/b/586616971Grand Finals starts at 8:45 Yes. My excuse is work related though. Sorry if I said this untruth. Foolish me. My other points still stand in my own belief though it is very debatable at this point. And congrats of course to life. Never questioned his integrity life just his playstyle which i got wrong. It doesn't really matter what your excuse is. Don't throw around unsubstantiated bullshit that discredits the winner (even if indirectly) without even watching the games. Come on, man.

After a full night of sleep, I still have difficulties believing Life, a Zerg, won this Blizzcon ^^. The technical difficulties made the beginning horrible and shameful, the finals was really awful, but the Taeja - Life series redeemed that Blizzcon. That King Sejong Station game blew my mind !

Incredibly. I so much did not expect Life to win. I mean: soo, Zest, INnoVation, TaeJa - obviously! Bomber, herO, Classic - possibly. Life was under my radar for this one.
Also nice to sea that it wasn't straightforward WCS KR > *

Definitely happy with the results. Life is such a cool zerg, I'm glad he got his time in the sun again

np: Opus, Life is Life. huehuehue
I know, the title is live is life.

So happy Life won another major ^^. Still think he has the highest potential of an SC2 player I've seen since MVP's peak

Really sad MMA didn't win. In 2012 his tvz was his best matchup along with tvt, but nowadays it's awful. He even cheesed Snute in DH Moscow twice in a row, because he realise what he can't win solid zerd in long run macro game. Hope MMA in his last year will return to Korea and get practise with stronger opponents. Or he can stay in EU and win 2-3 wcs EU, i'm ok with that :p

1. Mma hasn't faced a zerg yet and life already battle tested a top terran
2. Mma wasn't ready to face an all inner like life. Kind of a cheap victory IMO by life
Actually this doesn't change my opinion of life at all while I continue to gain respect for mma except for a botched finals You realize that MMA all-inned every game in the finals, right? While Life all-inned... twice.
MMA also pulled SCVs vs Classic in what 3 out of 5 games?
But yes, let's cherry pick when the guy someone wanted to win lost.

What were the stream numbers like for the finals? I couldn't make it but am curious!

You might forgot it, but
Rotteram:'Life won the first HotS Championship, and I predict he will win the last.'
Mmmmmm......

A) He was the better player anyways. B) Tournament's at fault because it wasn't handled the right way. C) His opponent was a cheeky cheeser. D) Jetlag E) JYP touched him. F) ... others
Just pick one, and let's move on. Maybe I did that perhaps. I was trying to use reason which I thought were reasonable truths to explain the surprise. And if you look at the numbers and the concept of timing perhaps there is a small case to be made. I did reiterate that life won this fair and square. So there is no controversy is that is what you are insinuating I am speaking of. Yes I was not impressed with four baneling all ins. It makes me more disappointed in mma than life. The grand finals should have been played on Sunday. There is a case to be made there.
Lol...This T fanboy is mad. That was not cheese. You need to go back and watch all the games.

Well he'll still have to keep on winning tourneys then, LotV is still far from release

I should think he meant a World champion, I was just paraphrasing.

Just rewatched Taeja vs Life. Really good series. G2 was great but G5 was my favorite. + Show Spoiler +The early queens allowed Life to creep so aggressively and deny Taeja's 3rd with that first attack with 3 queens. The creep allowed Life to reinforce his attack insanely fast and simultaneously prevented Taeja from having good counterattack opportunities because he had to basically go across the entire map on creep. Most Zergs spread creep defensively but Life showed that in some cases it's possible to spread it aggressively like this.

Some could say Life got a cheap win there but imo he just played this brillantly.. my favorite Zerg made it and I'd say he deserved it!
What a tourney.. ty bli² !
