Banshee is the main problem, because it made the hellion/marine drop good in the first place (it suck hard against the two FE build, reaper and 15gas). Since banshees are a problem ppl get ravens, and auto turrets are really really good in early game tvt (like locust good) and someone figured out what made TvT a shit mu: if you go for a double drop with 8marines and 2tanks + auto turret, if you land uncontested you win the trade 100% of the time. I'd say it's players figuring out how to play around banshee openings. Gas first vs gas first isn't great in any case but the double drop madness makes it 100% stupid. | ||
