Hyun, MC and Stardust being the top 3 is a fucking joke its their own fault, teams/kespa doesnt let them compete in other tournaments. why reward players with a BIG tournament and BIG prize money, if they only play one tournament.
Because they are the best of the best and SHOULD get the big tournament and the big prize money.

Not at all. I guess some people just have different opinions on this matter ; I personally love to see the best players doing their job. You deserve exposure. If Journey for instance had beaten MC, maybe he'd be on main stream, alas for him he didn't.
But MC is nowhere near the best, just one of the most popular. I disagree. He's definitely not tier 1 anymore, but he's not only an entertainer. He's not one of the best as in he's not one of the 16 best players in the world, and as such I don't want to see him at blizzcon. He's also not a top 5 protoss, and as such I'd like to see others invited over him instead. He's good, but not good enough to warrant all the freebies he's getting. WCS points system works this way. I would like WCS KR to have a far heavier weigh (for instance, Bunny got more points in Gfinity than you'd get for a GSL ro8, which is outrageous, if you ask me the mere fact of entering code S should at least be worth 500 pts), but it's not MC's fault if the system is like that. Making entering code S worth 500 points is completely ridiculous. That would put someone with 3 Code S ro64 be at the 23rd rank of the current system. I don't think this would be bad. Who is better according to you, Bunny (I've nothing against him guys, he's just close to 1500 pts in current rankings) or a player who was able to retain his GSL code S status three times in a row (who would have 300 pts in the current system) ? I genuinely think the later has done a much more amazing performance. ro32 code S players don't get any acknowledgement of their skill, code B/code A brackets are so stacked... The point of WCS is to get players from all over the world. Not just have it be a clone of Code S, which is what would happen in your scenario. As I said, get in contact with Kespa. All the WCS tournaments are open for everyone by design. Not Blizzard's fault noone from Kespa shows up. I naively thought the point of a ranking was to rank people, in this case according to their skill, not to promote national diversity. What I wish was isn't what Blizzard chose, fine, but it's hard to argue it doesn't select the best players in the world. Well you're right that you were wrong. It ranks people according to their results, not according to their skill.
Results should be balanced or a ranking based on them makes no sense. Won't comment any further on this topic, we should be talking about the games.

I'd just like to point out that there's nothing stopping Kespa from making tournaments for the PL players to play and make money in

no thats just not proven, of course they are good, but GSL is a special tournament, you can prepare for your opponents
if you dont attend most of the tournaments around the world you cannot prove that you are the best

They could call it KSL.

So more tournaments = better players. Give me a fucking break. GSL is special, but it doesn't mean it isn't the highest level of starcraft in the world and deserves to be regarded and rewarded as such. You DO prove you are the best by doing well in GSL

Neither do I. It makes absolutely no sense (wouldn't have minded it if he attempted some storm + colossi all-in, but macroing like that ? I don't understand SCII anymore).

Games between teammates should just be forbidden in tournaments, haha.
