Apparently even 6 collosi and i-think-decent FFS not enough to hold this :D. Probably because he lacked in viking focus fire and meat for collosi.

Always a coin flip. I don't like this kind of game.

Did he have Photon Overcharge in that fight?

Too big of an advantage for Reality for Hush to hold it, though he did his best and dropped some nice forcefields.

If you expect the SCV pull isn't getting storm out before it comes the answer?

the sad thing is, even thoug he prepared for it, he still lost to that scv pull

I mean earlier timing attacks, like at 10-11th minute mark. That's when he cut probes and upgrades. Upgrades and better economy would have definitely helped in holding that late attack.

SCV pulls make for pretty boring games tbh. Still, whatever works so that Reality can beat Hush and fulfill his destiny of losing to Trap.

Didn't quite come out right :D

What if hush pulled the probes in his natural? He would suffer a lot of economical damage, but would it be enough to lose him the game?

On August 08 2014 20:46 Grizvok wrote: If you expect the SCV pull isn't getting storm out before it comes the answer? You can defend it fine with 5-6 colos like Hush does, but not with an overly conservative approach.

@Grizvok : not really if your templar archive is not very early (11-12:00ish) already with your build, because you'll have very few templars with enough energy. The modern answer is trying to reach 2/2 (or 1/1 for 2 base pulls) with 5+ colossi. Here, with so late double forges, Hush had weak chances.

At first I actually thought they were amazing, but yeah they could have been much much better. He only trapped some SCV's. If he would've separated some actual fighting units from each other then he would've been in a much better spot.

I also think his collo focus fire wasnt that great. Not all of them were firing in the middle of the bioforce for max damage, at least two were firing at the edges

I just looked at all the terran units in a big concave shooting nonstop --> bad sign :D

Well you can also go for 2 or 3 but you have to cut stalkers (like myungsik vs innovation yesterday in overgrowth), which is really bad against drops and you will lose your colossi almost immediately in an engagement, which is terrible especially if the terran doesn't commit to an scv pull.
