You are so wrong

After considering you argumentation structure, which is full of content and brings multiple reasons, why he is wrong, I still disagree with you.

Lets not go into this discussion again. The issue was discussed deeply and throughlty. Its not a place to go into that debacle again. I just felt like expresseing my dissapointment.

People still have the wrong opinion on this, I will not stop discussing this, until RR is back to all tournaments. But this is, as you say, the wrong place for it. I'm available via PM though.

Isn't it impossible, by definiton, for an opinion to be wrong?

It's my opinion that Life is awful and shouldn't be in the top 50.

In fairness, the original post hardly provided any illustrious rhetoric or argument worth considering, either.

Like i said before the issue was discussed deeply before. No reason to repeat it. The GSL group style lovers never had any good arguments:

for GSL style:
1) Fast-no tiebreakers
2) No confusion as to how tiebreakers works-because its apparntly too hard to understand for some
2) No meaningless games

for normal style
1) Fair (GSL style isnt fair which can be mathematicaly proved)

So its a question wheater You are ok with giving unfair advantage to some players in order to have smooth tournament that is easy to understand for people with IQ below 90. For me its not ok.

Yes, it is. I stand by what I said, though, I'm a bit fanatical in format dicussion. Penev, since you answered: I was told by Plexa to not have this discussion in active LR, if you are interested in an exchange of thoughts about that, it would have to be via PM, but I don't want to waste your time, if you are not, so I'll leave it up to you to message me.

what unfair advantage? you just have to win 2 bo3's. I consider it more fair than RR where people who sandbag after losing their chances to advance screw over other guys

i guess i should cut it then

Oh, he wouldn't be the first to do that bit. There are a fair number of players who name themselves something that suggests a completely different race. It'll still never be as funny as the Brazillian Terran for Kaos Latin Gamers who's name is...Terran.

Reminds me of a Protoss who got owned by Boxer going for a Nuke + Science Vessel rush, EMP'ing the Nexus before landing the Nuke to insta-kill it. Twice. His name was Terr@n-[Nes]. Another spectator in the same game was called ZerG-[Nes]. Must have been a very imaginative clan.

They sold out by adopting a smoother and more easily understandable system? Why is something being the norm a bad thing? If A is better than B, we should use A and ignore B.
