(judging from liquipedia results) So sad......I loved Dreamhack for precisaly this reason-that they reject this unfair system. But i suppose all good things come to and end eveventually. I loved watching games like Stephano vs Tod too.

Nothing in it for sOs then haha. We all know $O$ plays for the $$$.

Yes, it kinda sucks. But DH will still be a great tournament I think, even if they use a shitty system.

After considering you argumentation structure, which is full of content and brings multiple reasons, why he is wrong, I still disagree with you.

Lets not go into this discussion again. The issue was discussed deeply and throughlty. Its not a place to go into that debacle again. I just felt like expresseing my dissapointment.

I just felt like expresseing my dissapointment. People still have the wrong opinion on this, I will not stop discussing this, until RR is back to all tournaments. But this is, as you say, the wrong place for it. I'm available via PM though. The original post was just expressing his feeling though, not telling someone else, he would be wrong. Anyway, GoOdy coming up soon, so I'll focus on that for now.

The GSL system ensures that every match played matters. With round robin you can have matches that don't matter which is a much bigger risk of unfairness. The supposedly unfair thing about the gsl system should be that not everyone in the group plays each other and you can get (un)lucky that way but that doesn't really hold because you will be (un)lucky anyway because of the opponents who you get in the groups. This was discussed millions of times already; I'm surprised that people still bring it up.
