Yeah but his ro32 performance was not that good. He was 2-1 Demuslim and Stephano, both nearly retired players. He is one of the best europeans for sure but I don't buy this hype. I think he will not go very far in this WCS.

I am trying to think of the competition outside of Korea right now and Snute is the only one coming to mind as a proper proper contender. Scarlett would be in there I would say, Terran I am coming up blank I want to say MajOr but he is well off of his 8th team days. So that is moot. ** Dayshi
Dayshi. I don't understanf why people think that Major is the best foreign Terran or something. He never was.

Vortix did it last season in a group with Mvp and MMA. Calling Mvp a top tier korean then is really a stretch, but it was a tough group and he played really well.

During the ATC qualifiers, Welmu all-killed team "Bounty Hunters", defeating HyuN, First, YoDa and then MC twice in a row. He is a very strong player indeed!

I would say he's gone already pretty far this WCS...

That's Welmu, he is a bit different than the usual foreigners...
Aren't all Fins? XD
Good point! However, not all of them have made a hobby of dancing their stalkers in the Boss Toss' main.

Top8 in Europe when there are way more than 8 Koreans playing in Europe is already very impressive

God I've been out of touch for so long @_@ I guess that's what happens when you're a senior in university and you work full time... ah well. Welmu fighting!

Beat Bbyong 2-1. Beat Welmu 2-1. Beat Scarlett and Huk 1-0 1-0. Beat Symbol 2-1 Elfi 1-0 Stardust 2-1 Lost to Jjakji 2-3 Harstem 2-0 Oz 2-0 Taeja 2-0 (lost to him later 0-2) Scarlett 2-1 Nathanias 2-0 Polt 3-1

Calling Mvp top tier is the same stretch as calling YoDa top tier recently. YoDa is losing to lots of people

When MajOr was really playing he was a cut above the rest, I think his earning a spot on 8th team trumps Fenix's making IM way back then any day. Not that anyone ever heard from Fenix after that anyway (I think they killed him), but Major definitely was up there and could be again. He has issues staying on teams, which has limited his exposure I would say.

Add that to the fact that his actual macro, control, and multitasking looks on par with top koerans. He just looks really good whenever you see him play in games.
I think this is the best chance for a foreigner to win WCS Europe with Welmu and VortiX doing that well. I know we were already saying that last season but with MMA and jjakji down, MC struggling against Welmu, it seems doable.

Mvp is worse than when duckdeok failed to qualify for WCS EU 1.

EU qualifiers are weird in that way. A bunch of pretty good Europeans, bracket luck and the time difference lead to a lot of Koreans not doing nearly as well as expected
