In a group where two Koreans seemed to have Ro16 spots on lockdown, Russian Zerg Vega.LiveZerg came through with the biggest upset of the season so far.
LiveZerg began by scoring a 2-1 victory over two-time WCS Europe finalist Acer.MMA, using a 1/1 roach timing to claim victory in game one and fending off a gold float all-in build from MMA in game three on Habitation Station. LiveZerg then proceeded to defeat another Korean Terran in Mill.ForGG, expertly using vipers to crush ForGG's mech Terran compositions in a 2-0 rout.
MMA almost found himself falling out of the group in last place when he went up against Mill.Dayshi loser's match, falling behind heavily in game three as the series was tied 1-1. Unfortunately for French fans, Dayshi committed a series of errors to blow his advantage, giving MMA the opportunity to comeback and earn a final match against ForGG for the second place spot.
Although Dayshi lost to MMA, Group G would see a Millenium Terran go through to the Ro16 in the end, with ForGG able to score a 2-1 victory over MMA and finish second place in the group. WCS Europe's Ro32 will conclude on Saturday with Group H.

Hm, 4/7 first place finishers are invited to HSC9. If Grubby or Patience manage to ace their group, the number will go up to 5/8. (not invited are San, First, Livezerg)
