I remember the first time I had ever heard of Alicia. Slayers was running tournaments to recruit players and Alicia had lost one of them. But then one month later he was on the team because his pure drive and dedication impressed Boxer enough to give him a chance.
If not for the recent glut of PvP finals, I'd be rooting for Alicia vs. Oz because it'd be the best story-wise. Now I can't, because the PvP posts would just be the worst.

Not EG's fault that the term "marketability" in esports is not generally correlated with results. If you want great players to get great deals, watch their streams, follow them on social media. If the MSC was involved and more storms went down that engagement would've been so good for Alicia. Hyun's pure macro and sick blinding clouds/abducts made it really even.
Hyun really makes roach hydra viper look incredibly strong. His mechancies and creep spread and map awareness and viper control are probably the best or 2nd best in the world.

Hyun with just way too much stuff. Alicia got the right feedbacks and storms he needed (neglected to morph into archons though) but Hyun had way too much

I'm not an expert, but it all comes down to how much of his core units protoss can keep alive. Every colossus that falls is more time for Hyun to make the next push rolling. Once protoss survives with 3 colossi, he will have 4 next time, then 5, and so on (depending on "perfect play"TM of course). Fourth died, but during that engagement every single colossus died, too, which made Alicia unable to really abuse Hyuns limited economy.

Tbh gotta give some big props to WCS for this, as tiny of a detail as it may be, it's just so much more convenient to have it be broadcast on both streams (if not the same stream all throughout) and I'd wager they would certainly have lost some viewers if not for this.

Yeah, exactly, you need to keep as many Collosi and Hts alive as possible, after each engangement. Alicia HT control was not great either. He let about 6 or 7 HTs die, when he could morph them to Archons after Storm/Feedback.

Hyunstoppable! I really like Hyun's playstyle, great and entertaining, aggressive, and probably one of the best swarm players there is, even though he is sometimes very sloppy and make questionable mistakes.
It's a shame. I'd love to see a ZvP final instead of ZvZ - but I really like Revival. I was a huge fan when he was back on TSL. Oh well, the times, they are a-changing.
Roccat obviously does shitty keyboards for SC2 Same problem with razer Blackwidow. On the left side there are Macro keys which all the players have to rip out.

hyun had a lot of great moments in his career, i personally think the greatest thing in his career was during ipl when he came on stage in boxing gloves after having an insane streak in ipl fc. good times.

As funny as that would be I'd rather Revival stomp him here and now and offer us a final that's at least decent.

It would be nice to look at specific timings in relation to three hatch before pool vs nex into gate openings and who comes out ahead depending on follow ups.

Oz had too many Sentries at home. The Roach/Ling force would have done SFA.

That wall-in for that third on Frost is incorrect, I think. It provides the Nexus no protection and the cannons don't fire until the Nexus is under real threat. Of course, that means walling on both sides as that location can be flanked on two sides.
That was a real nice hit from Revival. OZ got a little over-confident and greedy there, I think.

Ok I got what I wanted, a 5 game series. Now I want Oz to win it all because of how emotional he got just thinking about winning a tournament, which is tough to say because I also really like Revival

Most Korean players are like that. It's sad that only a select few give speaking English a shot, I reckon a lot of them could improve quickly.
True. I've found when I was learning a new language I had the same problem. I was really comfortable listening to it and I understood it really well, but would stumble on my words when trying to speak it. Once I got over that I improved much more quickly
