They've got such a big roster that I feel like they can be prepared for anything, and I wanna see what all the new folks can do. :D Some of the new folks are traitorous curs and are playing for Team Who!? instead I haven't forgotten the pain of watching ROOT vs. Who!?. It was terrible, brother fighting against brother. ;_; Or brother fighting against mate, I guess.
Was it terrible ? Catz against Nxz ? :p
Btw TB in that match you caught it on camera but didn't saw it. Catz killed the main hatchery with a Swarm host drop :p

Grand total of 4 times have signed up so far
We've already passed the deadlines for a number of events, so we won't be able to have 10 this month.
I'm pretty sad

I'm kinda.. really, really disappointed in the teams, on this one. =/
|
Guess people don't want free money thrown at them #logic.
|
I guess a lot of the teams are focusing on ATC atm and the koreans are probably tired of getting embarrased XD but Im really sad there is not a CW comeing up i'm going into withdrawal
|
Really hope there's some more matches organised. By far the most fun I've had watching SC2 for many months.

Is it the whole unconventional maps + 2v2s that's discouraging teams so? From my impression, the Korean teams don't really seem to be all that into it; I'm guessing that fitting in the time to practice a whole new set of maps in their practice schedules is not something they deem feasible or worth the sacrifice of practicing for the GSL/PL.
It's really sad to hear this though. I loved seeing something new and different with Clan Wars. Maybe it's best for team retention rates if the map pool switches to something that they're more familiar with?
Of course, that would probably mean that the KR teams will stomp the rest.

Wow, that's a huge missed opportunity by many of these teams. Makes you wonder who is making these decisions

If that's the case the event just won't continue. We won't compromise the vision for this nor our support for community mapmakers. There's no point in the event existing if we were forced to do that.

What if you reduce the number of clan wars per month so that teams earn more money per clan war? I know MLG may not like it because they are getting less content for their money but some content is better than the no content that is happening now. Assuming they can still be in the black with a reduced number of clan wars.

MLG will not like it and that was not part of the deal. They couldn't be in the black with less Clan Wars, that I can be certain of

I'm pretty sad Meh that sucks I hope the teams realize that it is nice exposure (and money) for them, I think most of us really enjoy watching the content as it is something new and fresh, with new maps and not the same, boring maps again and again as we currently see it in every other tourney :O
|
So the viewers are there, but not the players? Urgh, this was like the only event I was actually looking forward to in Sc2 anymore. Really sad that people in the scene are not willing to experiment more, such a myopic view.
|
Nooooo we need CW!!! we need to spam the twitter and facebook of all the teams to FORCE them to play!!!!
|
Ok so I have a bit of good news. I've been able to put together a few matches with the teams that have signed up. To really fill out April we need the rest of the teams to get active though.
14th - Startale vs MVP 16th - MVP vs MyInsanity 21st Axiom vs MyInsanity 25th Clan Who? vs MVP
|
Those are some good matches tbh. We need some of the NA teams to get their feces together and sign up too.
|
I think a lot more teams would be interested in it if you could qualify for something bigger in the end.
|
Well, at least we've got something. I've watched more Clan Wars lately than anything else, it's great and I'm glad at least some teams are making an effort
