On the bright side, at least Protoss is finally doing well. That crying Zealot always made me somehow feel like my struggles vs Protoss weren't shared experiences (even if that was a long time ago).

SC2 is fast paced game. When you have to think about your mouse instead of focusing 100% on your play and the mouse movement feels awkward and unnatural, it can throw you off and you can do mistakes like that. It doesn't need to be a high level game it is just that losing such a game is more costly than losing some ladder points.
Dear would probably win anyway but it was still a big disadvantage for QXC.

I don't think there is 100% reliable hardware. This could have happened to him with any mouse. He should have a replacement mouse just in case though.
In fact I know a lot of people who invest in quite expensive mechanical keyboards and have more problems while playing than I have with my regular Logitech keyboard.
