... You out-turtle the turtle.
Also, it seems kind of obvious that Kane and Suppy know Scarlett very well, she lost three games in a row to extremely aggressive builds in ZvZ to people that are a part of the NA zerg skype group. Please dear spaghetti monster play safe now.
Out-turtle the turtle xD That's some sort of turtle inception, let's see how deep we can get.
Had no idea that they're skype friends; sort of explains how they all are way too familiar with her playstyle, yeah.
edit - hah, that was some sweet baneling clash.

I think TotalBiscuit nicknamed it the "Zerg Cabal". A lot of the better NA Zergs all frequently talk to each other about strategy, ever since the end of WoL.

Stream glitched out at the last moment. Who won? I hope it was Scarlett.

Why do I doubt Scarlett over and over again? It's as if she likes to get behind just to comeback every time.
|
I am not even kidding, this girl is killing me. I swear she is doing this on purpose to give me a heart attack.
|
WOW! How about that?! Scarlett began yesterday AND today with losses, and ended up advancing from both.

You're right there, and I think it has to be her style to learn the opponent at first, then adapt and come out victorious in the end - somehow in the end of these groups, when you look at the big picture, she of all gave the best shows.
Just to see her comebacks, man, she adds SO MUCH show to this game.

Tbh, I think Scarlett is probably out of practice. The longer she plays the more she recovers her old form, which is why she can still win in the end.
Also, wrt scarlett vs qxc: shouldn't you do some zergling run-by's to try and kill the opponent's production facilities? qxc was just sitting in one spot.

God, when Scarlett is on her game, her play is immaculate. Also, Canada prevails.

Hey now, our RCMP can beat up your tanks- wait. I dunno if that's accurate. :S
But they still do lance drills.

They just die to siege tanks, and they have no attack upgrades either. Better to just spam more static def. It's part of the problem with late game mech, it encourages a play style from Z that is almost completely passive to the point of inactivity once you have established a strong position. Multi pronged attacks and the zergy style of run-bys and harassment are simply ineffective against this style.
Also Intothebu-eh heart, I've pretty much idolized Canada for the last 15 years, it's like my favorite country in the world.

Scarlett has been letting Americans start ahead, then crushes their dreams. Who says Canadians are nice?

It was her wrist problem, she had to rest because of it - does anyone know if she fully recovered?
|
You never really fully recover as long as you keep training. I've had and still have injuries like that. My hands are pretty much fucked when it comes to fine motor skills, and that's just how it is now. Look at MVP, he was never really the same again. You could make a similar case for Flash in some ways I guess.

When is the next group gonna start?

I've actually been once, to Toronto, a friend of mine knows some folks in the NHL so we got a hold of some pretty good tickets. It just seems like a nice place to live. Also I am an outdoors kind of person, and If there is one thing Canada has no shortage of it's space.
Weather-wise, well I live in Sweden so it was kind of like coming home, except everyone sounded like Jim Carrey, so a definitive improvement.
