This will go to a seventh game I'm sure. So many of Axiom Acer's players are in tournaments for the rest of this year, they're not going to give any decent builds away so expect very standard stuff.
No in my defense it was litcher :3 I was copying the first OP i saw with thursday on it because he didn't spoiler the last week one which i did >.< So i confused myself.

AxA got some pretty good match-ups for this one (short of Innovation vs Hack, maybe - unless Innovation really is as good at TvT as he says). If Life wins his ZvZ, I reckon ST can take it. Otherwise it'll be pretty hard without Bomber

Why would they want HyuNtic in the GSTL? That's way too much pressure for HyuN, man. He's already carrying his team so hard in the Acer TeamStory Cup... Just let HyuN play for AZUBU like HwangSin is playing for SouL right now next year.

15Hatch for Pet 15 CC for MMA 16 Gas for Pet into 16 Pool Rax and Gas down at the same time for MMA 4 lings and 2 queens as soon as pool pops for pet Another 6lings added! MMA putting a bunker down before his first units from his Rax come out anyway Factory goes down for MMA Pet has started ling speed MMA only has 2 marines in his bunker on the low ground of his natural and Pet just runs past them with his 10 lings 3rd hatch goes down and another stream of lings are on there way to MMA base (20) 28 lings lost for Pet 3 SCVs lost for MMA Excellent defense by MMA Cloak banshee production has started now and Pet has not scouted the starport at all Pet is back to hammering out drones from 3 hatch 4 Hellions hanging around the natural and 3rd of Pet keeping him locked in. Some nice creep spread from Pet though Banshee is heading for the 3rd of Pet Cloak hasn't finished yet! Banshee takes 1/4 damage Cloak finished and in he goes to the 3rd whilst 8 hellions dive into the natural! 2 Queens and 1 drone killed so far 6 drones killed now Nice pick off by pet, catches 7 hellions in the map and kills them all Pet has 1-1 completled whilst 1-1 is halfway done for MMA 2-2 started as i typed that for Pet 2nd factory on its way for MMA whilst his other factory is now producing widow mines 4th hatch goes down for Pet, MMA spots it with his banshee 2 medivacs worth or bio engage the 4th hatch but Pet has enough units now muta are out to force it away with the 4th on half hp MMA on 72 SCVs whilst he just starts his 4th CC Huge mine hits and the supply drops after that engagement by 40 for Pet! MMA pushing into the natural! The re supply from Pet saves him and they both come off it evenly. 130 vs 130 supply No hive tech started for Pet and MMA is closing in on 3-3 now Pet is looking to get his 5th hatchery up whilst the 4th is now becomming a planatry fortress. Also a PF being made in the natural/3rd area for MMA Hive tech started for Pet Aboslutely huge mine hits from MMA, everything gets hit by 4-6 mines The widow mines are doing damage but obvioulsy this is post patch and they aren't doing as much. Pets muta survive quite a long time, but are forced back when they spot a thor as reinforcements for the marines 3-3 finishes for MMA 3-3 starts for melee and armor for Pet 4th goes down for Pet! MMA snipes it Pet forced to back out and runs to his 5th (now 4th) MMA is 30 supply up though...looks dangerous for Pet MMA just runs into the natural and the main of pet Pet finally decides to engage but he doesn't have much of an army (40 supply down when engages) He gets cleaned up easily even though all (about 12) of his banelings connect with the bio. PET GGS! MMA Wins.
MMA did a good job targetting mutas with his mines and the thor, but Pet was really lacking in his micro. Basically just a-moved and lost too many mutas D:
Hmm those new mines didn't look as strong at all. Lots of engagements where muta were surviving. The most notable one for me is the 4-6 mines that went off on the Muta-Ling-Bane ball, and the mutas where just still hanging in there engaging the marines after everything else was dead, was only until he spotted a thor until he decided to run away.
12gas first by both 14rax Factory on 16 for Innovation Factory on 16 for Hack 2nd gas started for Innovation Hellions and a medivac out for Hack Hellion medivac drops whilst Innovation makes his 2nd CC Miss read from Innovation as he has made a Raven and a viking! Drop does decent damage, Hack is 7 workers up and starts his 2nd CC Marine seige starting from both players at the moment Innovation pushing across the map and doesn't seem to be adding to his 22 SCVs... 2 siege and some marines with 2 vikings and a raven Hack has 3 Vikings and 2 siege tanks and Innovation is not pushing into that yet 3rd siege comes over for Innovation and he engages! Raven drops a HSM onto 1 of the siege tanks! Hack runs his marines back to his tank and gets a huge hit from the raven in the engagement which helps out and he cleans up all of the siege tanks and marines from Hack! Good control Innovation, not so much Hack Pushes into the main, loses his marines justs 2 siege tanks for Innovation. He backs out with 1 siege and takes the low ground The natural CC from Hack has had to be lifted back into his main Hack finally cleans up the natural "contain". Innovation now up 11 SCVs (45 vs 34) 20 supply up for Innovation Stim started for both players on the 14minute mark! Drop full of marines being sent around the map for Hack Innovation going across the map again! He drops a medivac of marines onto the back of the siege tanks! Seige tanks are whiped out by Innovation He has a contain on the natural of Hack again! 3 Siege tanks 1 medivac and 10-15stimmed marines Hack is forced into GG! Innovation wins!

Heart didn't lose this game because mines got nerfed.
Heart is actually a very good Terran vs Zerg player, at least not bad for Korean standards and mines as you could see even 3 together did barely kill anything, not to mention they don't soften up mutalisks as much buying at least a little bit of time. And yes, mines compared to their previous power have next to no potential. You would have to get very lucky shots.
Terran vs Zerg wasn't Terran favored before and the widow mine nerf is a very hard one to say the least so naturally the game will shift if it doesn't evolve from bio mine into something else. Unfortunately tanks are shut down by multiple stuff such as fast regenerating mutas that allow high sustainability or the fact that a tankforce cannot move out in low counts and pressure early, allowing Zerg to play greedy and get up a good economy you won't match.
The tank buff in itself doesn't do justice to how many disadvantages tanks have and especially doesn't make up for the nerf of the mine which is essentially the midgame pressure of Terran as it allows earlier and better AoE compared to the tank. Tanks cannot push on creep, its too dangerous. Mines could with their damage and speed, now their damage is severely recuded and its even harder to get good hits. So yeah, we will see lots of Terrans struggle, especially against good Zergs like Curious, DRG, SoulKey etc.

Yeh the problem with Tank + Mine is that they don't synergize particularly well. Actually they have dissynergies due to extra APM if you mix them in together. Thus, you need to choose one of them.
So let's assume that Widow Mines prepatch had a strenght value of 8 and tanks prepatch had a strenght of 4. Postpatch tanks got buffed to 6 and Widow Mines got nerfed to 6. Blizzard may think thats a proper way of balancing the game, but since its not efficient to mix them in together, the value of your support unit has dropped from 8 to 6 regardless of whether you use Tanks or Mines. So in fact the tank buff doesn't get close to making up for the nerf.
This will likely be pretty troublesome for terran as it already is uderpresented in the higher leagues. Source: http://www.sc2ranks.com/stats/race

At least Life won TT. No Bomber though. He would've been good for an Innovation snipe. Plus I would've expected Avenge to beat Alicia, but wp by Axiom-Acer
Axiom-Acer really would hold their own in the Proleague. The addition of INnoVation has just really catapulted the line-up from a really good one to an arguably top-tier one. Last season Axiom-Acer really had really good strength in depth but lacked that one top, top player. Acer signing INnoVation has changed all that. No wonder Axiom-Acer are looking so dominant.

Not just Innovation either. MMA is starting to regain his former skill, which makes the Acer Terran duo a dangerous pair. Axiom just signed a new Zerg Impact, which adds much needed racial diversity and depth. Heart is also starting to look a lot better, and Alicia and Crank are always dangerous in teamleagues.
My only concern is Ryung. He's been slumping and I wonder if the injuries he mentioned earlier are finally starting to catch up to him.
At the very least, Axiom-Acer won't get last place in PL.

Yeah I totally agree. But even without MMA for most games and Scarlett being missing all season, AxiomAcer have dominated which really just further proves how much depth the team has.

He can score all kills in those rounds. Other than that might as well send him out first and get your one win.
I really hope Bomber doesn't come back for GSTL, no offense Startale fans but you're going to lose anyway and it would be taking a huge opportunity away from Bomber.
I was really pissed last year when Polt cancelled his participation at Dreamhack Winter just to go and lose in the GSTL semis. He could have won that tournament.

Well, he could have also helped his team win the GSTL in his mind. Conflicts are unfortunate, because it will always create a what-if. For example, if Polt had gone to Dreamhack Winter and didn't place well, people would have questioned his decision and wondered if his team could have won GSTL.
It is kind of silly that Startale is in the playoffs, which just shows how thin this GSTL is unfortunately. Startale didn't even break a 50% winrate, and didn't win a single match in R2.
