He is definitely not as good as soulkey. Didn't he lose to some no name European zerg, yeah he's gonna gonna beat a gsl winner He also beat Hyun and played a competitive series against Life at IEM. Soulkey is obviously the favorite, but I wouldn't be surprised if Nani pulls it out in the end, he has a track record of suddenly scaling up against strong opponents in his career. IDK it's hit or miss. Sometimes he shows up big time on the biggest stage, sometimes he falls flat.

Well, except for that one time against Mvp where he was favored to win. Oh god that LR got ugly.

Soulkey is the favorite but Naniwa has a solid chance... (although I would love to see him get destroyed 3-0) He has a chance but it is no means a solid chance. Just like Duckdeok he is a massive underdog. Massive underdogs do sometimes win but not because they have a solid chance. And unlike someone like Innovation Soulkey is just a pillar of consistency. He is probably the least likely to fall to any bullshit tactics.

The 2 best matchups today overlapping.... Naniwa vs Soulkey is only viewed as a good matchup because naniwa isnt korean which is dumb. Purely in game it will be the most one sided series here. I love seeing nani get crushed. Can't miss that.

Possible, but <50% chance of happening imo. I know it's weekend and all, but I know a lot of euros will go sleep in an hour or two. Even if it is Blizzcon. This one's on you, NA/SA. Well I guess maybe oz wakes up eventually too.

He was never actually favored to win in a bo5 with a week preparation time against Mvp, people just thought he was.

I am disappointed Innovation lost, but I could tell by the only 1 bunker for the first game that he wasn't going to commit enough resources to defend against Duck's all is throughout the series. He commits to economy without proper scouting. I seriously think this is why Soulkey is so consistent. He scouts like a mad man.

Naniwa better win. He has the [A] blessing.

As an SC2 fan who hasn't followed the scene closely the past six months I just want to give a huge shout-out to Chobra. The awkward korean-to-english interviews was one of the most irritating parts of major tournaments for me and I have to say Chobra is doing an amazing job, the language barrier is almost invisible. Seamless transition between english and korean with zero accent (as far as I can tell) and great professionalism. I hope to see more of him, he truly raises the bar. PAY THE MAN!

Come on Naniwa, you got this!
