Storm drops aren't so great yeah unless it's oversaturated. Stork stormed like 8 SCVs and killed 4
this is one of the biggest problem in SC2, no reaver-esque units
Widow mines?
do you ever think WOAH LOOK AT THAT WIDOW MINE CONTROL/MICRO.
I don't think sc2 needs a reaver, but it does need more like flashy/big impact units. everything is toned down quite a bit. plague ---> fungal storm drop ---> shitty storm drops etc
Yes, actually. Some players unburrow mines to avoid wasting shots, and then individually burrow/unburrow them to maximize damage. It's subtle and difficult and few notice it, but it is amazing.
isn't that the root of the problem though, that it's subtle? I would never notice that in a million years because I do not play terran or zerg. On the other hand when I see some one magic box mutalisks I KNOW that's cool without having to do it as its flashy and looks nice.

SC2 still has some room for difficult micro, it just isn't as obvious--and sometimes not significantly beneficial--because everything happens so fast. Not sure how to make micro "more flashy" though.

I mostly remember the Reaver for going "IT'S GOING TO CATCH A BUNCH OF WORKERS... or... do nothing at all."
That's not true, actually. I do remember one game where someone on ACE (I think it was Daezang?) destroying Sea.Really with Reavers. That was amazing.
