Look, I like Tasteless, he's cool and I love his casting, I wouldn't replace him with any other guy, but it's pretty clear that he doesn't play nor follow the metagame outside of the games he casts. I'm cool with it, what I like with Tasteless is that his casting flows really well, he's funny, and he actually has really good tactical insight. Like, he has no knowledge of the metagame, the overall strategies or the builds or the players' current strengths and shit, but he quickly sees what a player can do in a given position on a given part of the map with a given set of units. I'm willing to cut Tasteless a lot of slack because he really worked hard during the BW days. I'm fine with him growing lazy/tired/complacent, it happens. If he can settle on a "cushy gig", good for him.
Then maybe take him off prime content, maybe have him do Code A and move Khaldor into Code S? I really don't think resting on your laurels is a good excuse for poor performance. What matters, or what should matter, is what you actually put out. And right now it's not really up to par.
If it's because he actually does not play or follow the game much anymore, then that is simply unprofessional. He is hired to cast, and should ensure that he is well prepared. No way I could come to work unprepared and then try to justify that with me having worked really hard last year.

If Tasteless were to show up on the scene for the first time today he would be shit on relentlessly and never make it because he honestly isn't that good right now. Yeh, he has been poor for quite a long time. It used to really piss me off, and i enjoyed when ogn were casting as well so i could watch something else instead of him asking what artosis favourite flavour of icecream is. But i'm over that now, just gotta accept that's who he is these days, and that's ok, there's plenty of other events and casters out there. It's quite interesting watching artosis commentate with another caster who is very well informed with the scene like Apollo, it's so different.
I remember Artosis casting with TLO once and it was the best cast I have ever seen. Could tell Artosis was getting a big kick out of it too, actually having someone to bounce ideas off of and pick up on things he missed.

Gom should have fired him long ago every post you make seems so off-putting and wrong. yes theirs a huge difference.
So if I am smart my boss should not fire me even if I don't do my job? I know a lot of ppl like him because of the history and let's be frank he is a horrible caster. He obviously doesn't even like the game. Khaldor knowledge is not that good but at least he shows us passion. Tasteless can go cast world of tanks or something. Gives the job for somebody who appreciates it.
And yes, Gom should listen to their paying customers.

Artosis/Wolf cast would be the closest thing we can get to cloning Artosis and having him cast with himself. Sounds great to me.

Artosis and Wolf is actually a very very good cast as well...
For the people who want to put khaldor in tasteless spot... just watch the day he casted with artosis.. i think it was round of 8 last season. It was actually the worst cast I've ever seen. They don't connect at all as casters. Khaldor was just alpha-male all over Artosis, while he did not take that very well.
