Stop balance whining. Do we seriously need a mod note for this? Disappointing.

Wow DRG! I have to admit his "comeback" definitely snuck up on me. I went back to look over his TLPD game history and holy crap, it's like night and day!

Great games. DRG vs Innovation was incredible. The quasi randomness of the widow mine makes the game exciting to watch, but terrible to play. They might want to look at that. There has been a lot of QQ on the Zerg end of things, but when you have to split perfectly or lose your whole army as Terran is that QQ really justified? I'm not sure. Glad to see DRG on his game again and with the Nestea award!

On a semi related note, I don't know what this TvP SCV pull thing will do to the matchup. Do you just die if you don't have enough Storm? Seems like it. Maybe it will just lead to more Templar openings, IDK.

im sorry but I dont think Mvp will ever be close to code s level either. I dont think DRG wouldve lost in that WCS EU group when he was at his absolute lowest, sorry its just my opinion dont hate me

What? Mvp is so far more relevant than DRG is in 2013. He already made that comeback. I mean you can pick the moment when one player plays well and the other plays bad and say things like this, doesn't make it valid.

He probably wouldn't have won with his form earlier this year tbh. KR to EU is pretty bad with the lag as well.

Not at his lowest lol. He was terrible. Would've thought hardcore fans would have a better memory than that.
He beat innovation today, but at the height of zerg imbalance on WoL, I remember him being absolutely crushed by innovation with some of the most uninspiring zerg play i've ever seen. And of course there were many many other examples.

Yeah but a week before he lost to innovation he also beat him.....but we arent even talking about WoL. I'm talking about HotS.

I just came here to say that I am usually the first one to criticize Tasteless for randomly babbling and not adding a lot to the cast - but I was legitimately really happy with him while watching DRG vs Innovation. Haven't seen the rest of the series yet, but please, PLEASE TASTELESS if you see this, keep casting like you did last night. You do have it in you :D

Wouldn't go back to WoL, he also took 2nd in Iron Squid around that time. It was post-HotS where he became DongRaeWho

Of course It's not true for everyone, not sure what you're trying to say here. DRG's lowest point at the start of HotS was really bad too and he made a comeback so I wouldn't write off MKP MMA or Mvp from showing us something cool again in the future. NesTea I agree only because he just got married and his career as a fulltime player is probably coming to an end soon.

And really, most of all you would be a fool to say Mvp cannot come back when he's done so many times before. Just a few months ago he was the only one in the season finals who was able to challenge innovation, he's slumping now and if he puts his mind to it I see no reason he couldn't come back again.

WIth an "injury" like MVPs that is more of a chronic condition, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he was actually alternating "cool-off" periods with periods of higher-intensity training. I have 3 herniated lumbar discs, and if i wanted to compete in a sports event of some sort I could work myself up to it, but if I wanted to compete in one every month like I used to... yeah, not so much.

Too bad GOM requires a sub to watch it, how good were they?

Not at all, you can watch on twitch archive ! http://www.twitch.tv/wcs_gsl/b/457189492 for DRG Inno game 2 for instance. I think it's a requirement from blizzard that WCS has free HQ vods. The GOM ticket still gives you their super quality tho, which is way higher than twitch's highest.

Also, replacing the reapers with just 3 or 4 marines was very smart from inno, as everyone makes reapers now zergs will send their overlords left and right and we're back to the overlord hunting game =)

Not arranged in a spoiler free format though, which is unfortunate.

Finished the vods, it was amazing. Someone talked about the maps and it's true that Inno looked clueless on the 3rd map, like he didn't practiced it a lot. But it was great play anyway by DRG, like the old DRG with no slip up in micro, where the observer is DRG is too (and innovation too btw), this is a sign of a player in top form !
