Stop balance whining. Do we seriously need a mod note for this? Disappointing. |

I'm gonna have to say you're wrong. These two are both getting out.

Yep. Econ and upgrades.

Innovation still #1 TvZ it looks like.
It's his other matchups (esp TvT) that make him questionable for a "best player" claim.

I just don't understand how the mule is defendable in situations like that, down 30+ scvs for however long it was, just float an oc down to a new expansion and suddenly you have double the income of your opponent.

How long was DRG long distance mining that other base? that was stupid...

Cause you actually can't at that point, you need every ounce of minerals for making ling baneling, try playing zvt

You know that a zerg can't lose a ZvT without some solid balance complaining! To bad DRG didn't scout that base, if he could deny that he probably could have won.
If he had scouted the game would have been even, not a guarenteed win.
This map is OK for current ZvT due to large spaces which allow mutalisks to work well and allow zergs to get a lot of bases relatively safely, unlike other maps like belshir or something.
ZvT still probably in T's favor but i haven't seen enough games recently to be 100% sure of that

Not spending his gas bank and more importantly taking not enough bases is what broke DRG's back in the long run. Difficult to do of course, but there were a few points in time when he fended off Inno's push when he should've snuck in an extra base or two.

Well Zerg T2 < 4M. I don´t know why pro still don´t know it. DRG hadn´t much freedom to transition out though, I guess he knows.

DongRaeGu vs GuMiho Game 2 Map: Derelicted Watcher 0:00
DongRaeGu starting in the bottom left
INnoVation starting in the top right

To be fair cross spawn on whirlwind is the best position a zerg can get
|
Can DRG but up a fight like that again or did the air go out of him so to speak.
|
Kinda sad that TvZ went from the best mu to the worst mu. ZvP looks way more fun these days
|
DRG can really make cost efficient trades against mines. I think that was the only reason he held off bogus at the north base for so long.

Or just a ling, doesn't even have to be burrowed.

DRG had a hard time fighting him off. He was never really above 300 minerals cause he was constantly pumping army to not give innovation a chance to overrun him It is easy to say expand when you are watching from the observers point of view but you have to see it with DRG's eyes. He doesnt know whether he has a lead or not just like that
|
how frustrating can it be any more than that? this game is fuckingly stupid, if z go down on supply by 20 he completely dead, if terran low than 30, nevermind im just turtle w/ mine and everything will be fine.
