Now he needs to fix his ZvT. Remember, you can't even blame balance because two of the games widow mines didn't come into play. He botched the defence against triple bunker and bomber won the last set with rine/tank... rine tank... come on... I think in this tournament, both JD and Bomber proved that they could dismantle Tosses like tossing toothpicks. Scarlett showed she could stick in with top Code S Koreans. Worried for Innovation. He's been getting spanked left and right and a loss to Naniwa... wow...

His trouble with zvp was massively over stated, and his rate of improvement was pretty quick. Honestly speaking, unless something bizarre happens I expect him to win the next season finals + blizzcon.

Bomber is a fucking monster. it looks like one of my top 3 favorite players is about to take the spot another one used to hold (Mvp). perfect game sense, great series planning, huge variety of builds, high mental strength, and he actually has better macro than Mvp when he won fucking everything. holy fuck i feel so good right now. Bomber is very much like Mvp with better macro but I think his series planning is not as good as Mvp's yet. If you look at the series against Rain in OSL, when his plan didn't go well he kinda fell apart and just lose badly.

He only had to play against protoss until after his semi final so I don't blame him for not preparing too much. The same thing goes for bomber, though and he looked phenomenal.

definitely better macro than Mvp. Bomber has been a fucking macro god even when he honestly wasn't winning much. before Innovation and Flash hit the sc2 scene he was clearly the best macro terran in the world imo. even now it's arguable, but those two are some pretty strong competition in that regard. Bomber has an experience and game sense advantage on both of them though imo.

As much as I love mvp, bomber is a mechanical god. Watch his stream and you will see how clean he plays. I don't think any terran is better at macro. Mvp's strengths lie elsewhere.

yeah comfortably. Mvp's macro was always pretty good but not outstanding like Bombers.

He is overly hyped for being in team liquid, but if you look at his games he lacks that something. Brilliance, star sense, aura, whatever you call it. Lol rubbish. He's anything but a "generic Terran" who "managed to survive" after terran imbalance. He frequently displays Brilliance, and showed it off plenty of times over the weekend against innovation and Rain in particular.

To be fair, I always found it weird people look at macro and micro independently. Once you get to the mid game, it is all about how you spread your APM. Bomber always prioritized macro (so he sometimes loses armies due to lack of micro). He was the opposite of MKP who would prioritize his micro. Mvp was successful because he found the best balance between the two (Innovation is probably the best at balancing the 2 right now, but his strategies aren't as flexible).

? Obv he'd overcome his troubles when he simply puts enough time in his practice and knows where his faults are...
