I honestly don't understand why there are so many Bomber fans out there. He's only ever won an MLG, but over the course of several years otherwise didn't work hard enough to get the results his potential would suggest that he could.
I mean it's great that he finally won something again because he shows flashes of being able to be a great player, but historically he's been so inconsistent that I have to believe he's just hit a hot streak which will eventually fan out.
I just hope he shows more personality in the future, because one reason that I've never really been a fan is precisely because he's never done that. That stone cold look when after he won today didn't help =/

Games would've probably been closer and the storyline of foreigner in the finals would've made it much better for me at least. Old story: they should have trained harder and played better. Scarlett might be the second best player in the world. She barely lost to Bomber. I wish we could see her play Taeja. Absolutely no. She's definitely top 10. I persoanlly think lif is still way way better, and liffe is probably not top 10 anymore. Life is really dominant early game. But just dies later on. but if we take this tournament where Scarlett almost beat Bomber as evidence of her incredible skill, should we not also look at RSL and say Life is better than Scarlett 100%? No, you're right we shouldn't. Lets not all make power ranks based on just this tournament. Yup, and Life lost to hyvaa in challenger league, therefore hyvaa is even better. as for personality, you're entitled to find him boring or whatever, but clearly not everyone does. this thread is evidence of that

Also, placing high in tournaments in end of WoL is pretty darn impressive (MLG Fall and IPL5).

Find some VOD's of the Redbull Battlegrounds Day9 ran at PAX last year. It was a silly event and Bomber was an amazing sport, laughing and joking around with everyone.

Nope, I hate zergs with passion, but lets face it, if I'm to choose the best zerg player from wcs s2 finals, without a shadow of a doubt the answer would be Scarlett.

Bomber gets serious at major tourneys, but he can laugh and have fun with the best of them. He really does have a lot of personality.

Or take into account that bomber has been a hard working player for over 2 years now, who has been always there, on good days he could roll anyone, and his only drawback has been choking from time to time. It was about time for him to overcome it and win the shit he deserves.

That's why Scarlett was in the final-
Oh...
Oh wait.

No offense to any race, but
Terran being the champion Zerg taking the 2nd Protoss being the 3rd race
really fits my image of Starcraft in general.

Do you believe Bomber ist he best player in the world? :x Not to mention that a close-loss to him doesn't make you second best in the world... Taeja also lost close to him. Also 2nd best? :x It was the world championship finals. Winning it gives Bomber a good claim to be the best player in the world. taeja and inno both have better TvZ and at least taeja is better at TvP. it's really only TvT in which bomber is better than taeja and inno, which sucks when they meet head to head. I doubt inno has better t v z, we really only see him playing soulkey. As t v p, bomber is absolutely a beast, no doubt he would stormed first 4-0 if he advanced. lol, inno having worse tvz than bomber? you just disqualified for every discusiion ever. you also make it sound like soulkey is bad at zvt. he is probably the best zvt player on the planet. I said I doubt inno had better. And I never buy this soulkey hyper. He really only beat MKP in z v t in a long time. He lost to supernova for god sake, how can anyone claim he is that good. again, you make it sound like supernova is bad. supernova played the tournament of his life in the last OSL. the point still stands that SK is much better at TvZ than Scarlett, and that inno still has to be beaten in TvZ by anyone other than SK. as much as I recall, he didn't lose a TvZ series since the WCS korea season 1 finals.

I'm so unbelievably happy right now. My favorite player finally won a tournament again and aLive had such a damn good showing. Huge congrats to Bomber.

Eventhough Scarlett played a great series vs Bomber, she did go 0-2 to Alive. So I am not sure you can definitely put her above JD eventhough he did lose 0-4 to Bomber. No one knows how she would have done vs the Ps that JD had to face.

Are you fucking serious? Didn't work hard enough??? Both SaSe and Naniwa said that Bomber was one of the most hardworking players during their stay at the Startale house. Stop saying ridiculous stupid shit just because he beat some foreigner
Also, people are not allowed to like a player because he doesn't have many big tournament wins? Who are you to say that?
Lastly, if you ever watched Bomber's stream but also some of his interviews/old redbull events, you would see that Bomber actually has a really nice personality. He's not MC, but not every player can be like that.
I can't actually believe you just wrote that

You're right, the last year and a half of WoL definitely didn't have many many zergs on top!
edit: sorry for doublepost
