I think it has been said quite often, but: In Korean schools (as well as in Japanese) the children learn the language, but barely ever talk. Therefore they absolutely aren't used to talking in English, even if they might know the language quite well. Grammar wise they'd know what to say, but they just don't do so because they are not used to. That's at least what a lot of Asian people told me when I asked why so many people of their culture avoided to talk in English. If you're in Japan, for example, you can talk to them in English and they'll do what you want, but they won't ever answer anything in English. It's probably just their mentality and them not being used to talk :-P

Lucifron is really gonna be pissed because he was overconfident as hell in the engagement with the immortal in the main. Well, maybe the next one.

WCS EU is just the SC2 that I love to see the most! Great show and all my favorite players and amazing stories!
Thanks guys! <3

Oh well, WCS AM in less than 90 minutes. I'm interested in seeing how well Minigun can do against all the Terrans.

It really seemed like they were telling Luficfron to all in.

It´s very weird if you do not know English in Finland for a teenager.

Written language is more than enough for business or education.
And languages are developed the more person uses them, so Korean pro's language level is not that high.

Michal Blicharz @mbCARMAC 13m Stephano will get a proper sending off from the ESL crew in #WCS Extra. Don't tune out of the stream after the last gg.

Damn, I'm just mad lol. Because his economy and tech were both clearly behind. If Duckdeok came knocking immediately Lucifron knew he would die. If Duckdeok waited, then his economy would just make the gap larger. There was no doubt that Duckdeok had won and it was the right time to gg out.

What if I told you english has less of an impact in Korea than it has in Finland? If Welmu had bad english, they would have a translator for him. If you follow poker coverage you see south american or russian players interview with a translator all the time.
