Missed it though since I watched the whole TI3 playoffs day 3. I felt Maru was gonna win since he has great preparation and that he's really really good. Grats to this amazing accomplishment. Second Flash incoming? or maybe he will become better. Also Maru: Kespa takes our GSL? I take your OSL.

![]() ![]() ![]() It wasn't so much that Maru won, it was that Rain lost. The only game that he legit "won" believe it or not was the proxy rax game. Game 1 was the most beautiful PvT I've ever seen from Rain, in game 2 he defends all that cheeky bullshit. The other games were stupid bullshit from Rain that isn't characteristic from him. Game 4 he attacks into a concave and doesn't retreat when his army got empd. Game 5 he goes for a risky Immortal all in AFTER SCOUTING A TON OF MARINES AND A FAST THIRD CC, when he could have easily just gone for the late game and take a third and go for the aoe tech. Then in the last game he goes DT drop after scouting the same thing? When you're known for the most solid macro play in the game, why take retarded army engagements and do risky builds. Game 1 was the most impressive thing I've ever seen. DO THAT MORE OFTEN... What the fuck. Yes iMad ![]()

Game 2: 1/1/1 from Maru, as if that would ever work versus Planetary Nexus Game 3: Proxy 2rax and SCV pull wins the day Game 4: Macro game even throughout. Rain attacks into a concave on open ground, gets EMP'd to hell and bleeds to death on the counter. Game 5: Rain tries an immortal all in, but Maru sees the proxy pylon and builds 5 bunkers. Attack fails, Maru has 3 CCs, and he macros an army to victory. Game 6: Rain's DT drop is ineffective versus Maru's 3cc, Maru realizes (brilliantly) that Rain has no AOE. Maru attacks, Rain can't hold, gg.

Yeah, it's quite awful. I didn't watch the games Rain won, but those won by Maru aren't really worth watching at all, unless someone plans to make a doctorate in psychology by writing an essay entitled 'Mental collapsing in competitive sports'.
