Meh, I just hate statements like this. He won his ro32 and ro16 groups in the most difficult SC2 league in the world and then lost 2-3 to arguably the best Protoss player currently in the world, and now he's mediocre?

Compared to the rest of the Code S field, yes.

His games were hardly inspiring, just all ins, hellbat abusing and SCV pulls.

He won't make it past the RO32 next season, you can quote me on this.

Not sure if trolling or being a ass.
hmm..

So you think he is a top 8 player in the world?

Not being top 8 and being mediocre are completely different.

If hes on RO8 so hes a top 8.
This (He should play like i want. So hes not good.) is just some random BS.
He won to be here, he didn´t got seeded.
And in the 7th day, Flash stopped macroing the universe.

Aren't people tired of seeing bio vs colossi and/or storms?

On a side note, I understand LoL players call it scrims, but I used to call them scrims way before LoL when I was playing shooters with my amateur team...=[ habits die hard!

To all the people who don't get PvT. Going a fast 10+ stalkers with no blink in sight vsT going mmm is going to get shat on once the T gets to any stim + medivac timing. Supernova could've floated his third down once he had stim and denied Rain's for ages if not just killed him with drops or an scv all-in. I like Rain alot but it was pretty all-in.

Very true! Also worth saying is that it's sort of an reactive all in, he did it as a response to the fast third and vurnable third, thus a very late tech.

The thing is that he didn't need to win with that push. He needed to do damage, sure. But he had all the possibility of teching up, expanding, building gates and otherwise advancing his macro at home. What he did was a timing attack. You also need to do damage when you do timings.

It's either the bunkers get repaired and it does very minimal damage or he basically wins outright, there's very little middle ground with an attack like that. Even if he kills a few scv's and some bio his tech's going to be badly delayed vs a triple orbital terran with stim and medivacs

He would probably have backed off or just danced around without committing if he saw that SCV:s had been pulled, and thus not do as many warpins there. I'm not saying that he wouldn't have been behind if that happened, though. I'm saying that being behind after a failed attack =/= all-in.

Read my initial post. Forcing an scv pull isn't enough when you've committed to that many stalkers, stim and medivacs will end you. If he had a citadel at least building for blink i'd think maybe he could've transitioned ok but otherwise the stalkers become virtual deadweight vs stimmed bio.

The reason Artosis died of laughter is: Tasteless and Artosis were comparing Bomber and First to Cable and Cyclops and Tasteless said something about Cable being a good keep away character cause he uses projectiles and then said that it'd be hard for Cyclops to keep someone away cause his lasers come out if his eyes so he'd have to run backwards where he might trip on a rock, haha.

Anyway, it was really hilarious and unexpected -- Artosis dying of laughter was really funny to hear.

well fuck. boringest Protoss player wins again by being really good and Supernova is out =/

at least the series was really close, SN was able to show he's not a pushover.

His games that he won include...

A WTF pull every SCV attack

and Rain playing so bad it made Artosis call the game gross

Last game Ran got a free win too when SN didn't pull scv.

So much irony, Rain winning with a semi-allin. SN losing because he didn't pull scvs

Rain's allin was based on his scouting, Supernova's scv pull was out of desperation from being behind.

It wasn't an all in at all, he had 3 gates and just attacked.

It was a pretty big commitment tbh. That many stalkers so early meant delayed tech and also useless late game units. However given how SN opened it was always going to do damage.
