State, hellokitty, Capoch, Fenix, Maker, and Killer are nowhere near the level of puCK, DeMusliM, and the Chinese players. It's unfair to lump State and Killer with players like Maker and Capoch. State and Killer both were able to beat Koreans in Bo3
Agreed. I just made a list of the invitees who dropped out.

(Eh, maybe that was too harsh to be honest). It's one of those questions that keep me up at night: Should casters point out the mistakes and criticize bad play (Khaldor-Wolf style) or should they try to focus on positives? I mostly have a problem with caster casting a game with two lesser players (relative to the best of the world) and just take the easy road out and criticize everything they do needlessly. It would be like a professional commentator casting a game from a lower division in soccer and just keep bashing them because they are not doing things as well as Barcelona. That's not how you do it. You cast to the level of play you are seeing and you don't point out the same things in a game between two NA pros as you do in a game with two of the best Korean's playing each other. Same goes for the praise.

No, he's not saying that you're shit, he's saying that you're not at the skill level of the latter group. Beating /a/ Korean is not a measure of skill in and of itself (and that Korean completely bombed out of WCS, which IS an indication of his skill level).

But it's not like puck or the Chinese players, or even demuslim that he mentioned have all that much results to speak of either. Seems a bit random to draw the line there.

Puck defeated two Koreans to get into Challenger (Sage & HyuN), most of the Chinese players defeated multiple Korean in both Challenger and Premier Qualifiers and then again in their Challenger League brackets/groups, as did DeMusliM. The people on the first list were all given free passes into Premier League and then failed to retain those spots (and two of those even dropped out of Challenger), while the latter three fought their way in from the qualifiers against Premier level competition.
Not /that/ arbitrary, tbh.
