They should adopt the GSL system, to be honest.
I hate the GSL/MSL system. So much can depend on the order of who plays who first. It's terrible. Much better to have a system where everyone plays everyone else. Just order it intelligently, play teamkills first, ect.
Ok, srsly, which Genius said, that YugiOh is 7-4 on LP? You can neither win 7 maps in 3 bo3´s nor lose 4, when you win all series. The ninja-editing is strong today, Harstem was "out" for a while as well.

No amount of ordering will change the fact that someone who is 0-2 and out has no incentive to try hard in his final match. There is no perfect system because ideally you would want round robin, but it's impossible to do without there being the chance for meaningless matches. GSL style is the only way to have each match count, but the downside is people don't play everyone. I'd rather have that tradeoff than the chance for meaningless matches.

This, a lot of people complain about the 3-way tie for example but the 3-way tie shows how ridiculous the GSL system is. Round robin is the only legitimate system when you play in groups.
And if a player doesn't have motivation to play his best then imo he should be ashamed of himself, and players that do things like that will never win anything anyway. But this discussion is getting pretty old.

I'm fine with this if they go with infinite tiebreaks for a 3 way tie rather than using map score or head-to-head. Though I didn't like the way OSL did it this season either.
