I don't see how this isn't a bigger deal to people, especially with it happening twice in WCS EU already with Mana advancing over TLO 2-3 and duckdeok advancing over DIMAGA 2-3. A good example of how nonsense it can be is thinking instead of Jim we have Innovation, and instead of Nestea, we have a walkover. So then we have: Innovation > Walkover Major 2-1 Ryung Innovation 2-0 Major Ryung > Walkover Ryung 2-1 Major Innovation advances with a 2-0 (makes sense) Ryung advances with a 2-3 while Major is eliminated with a 3-2? | ||

But it's not reversed. It is what it is. Major went 1-2 in matches, Ryung went 2-1. Requirement to move on is to win 2 matches. There's no need to give scenarios that require new rules to the tournament format to make a point. edit - Also, I thought people agreed extended series sucks and should not be used. | ||
