Boxer was the mind behind MMA's play.

But still, he had solid mechanics as well, and terran is mostly for the mechanically good people, even Innovation admits he doesn't have a very strategic mind, he simply wins on macro and mechanics alone.

Actually Terran is the only race that gave us a GSL-Champion who was totally inferior mechanically to his opponent. MVP says Hi. But yeah. of course he had good mechanics. He still is decent. But since Boxer is gone he's a mid/low tier Code A player.

Someone seems upset that Mvp didn't win GSL October :p

What? Did i phrase that wrong, or did you just not read correctly. MVP is the GSL champ who won a a Championship despite him being inferior in every (mechanical) way to squirtle.

u wot m8

As much as I like Squirtle saying he's mechanicly superior to Mvp in almost every way seems abit silly.

At the time everyone seemed convinced that Squirtle was by far the better player in actual Stacraft 2 " mechanical skill ". It was probably true, but it didn't matter because he was worse at playing a bo7 and worse at winning tournaments.

Ah, this was right after his second place at IPL4 and his pretty sick streak in the GSL right? Makes more sense then, but yeah, beating Mvp in a BO7 is something else.

Yup this was right after Squirtle's breakout performance at IPL4 and he went through that GSL season only losing one map in the ro32, he went undefeated in the ro16 through to the finals.

Nobody slaps down hype like Mvp.

Everything about that season was amazing ^_^

That whole season was just Mvp slapping down hype. First smacking Naniwa in the ro8 in Naniwa's first Code S season, then smacking down Parting who looked unbeatable in PvT and said in his interview he would 3-0 Mvp, then slapping down the undefeated Squirtle.

Damn, that was a good GSL season.

MMA should have a good TvT in the hellbat drop era, he was the drop king back in the day. Why is he struggling in this matchup?

That was the "Won't be denied" season that truly cemented MVP as a true legend of SC2. He already had a reputation as a winner and a champion but that season was something special.

Well a lot of guys looked unbeatable until you put them in the booth against Mvp...
Terran is probably mechanically most demanding race (at least in my opinion) so any terran that could win 4 gsl champions is mechanically very solid player..
