Nah, I'd be totally fine with Leenock winning 4-3. If Jjakji stayed relevant I wouldn't be bitter. But he hasn't done anything in 1.5 years since then and Leenock has won big tournaments. Pretty sure we can agree that Leenock is the better player. Jjakji just had a dream-run.

Jjakji was actually very good during GSL November and the previous season, and decent during two seasons after I would say (S1 2012 barely qualified for RO8 and S2 he won once again Taeja and lost the last match of the group against him, Taeja who went to at least 3 RO8 at this moment). He had one of the best micro in TvZ and he showcased very different styles, for example in TvP (his series in GSL November shows this). He suffered the same way as Mkp from the patch (queen range, overlord speed) that would change the face of TvZ forever (or rather a year) and went on to never win a TvZ again. But it's true that he has never been that good in TvP, at least he was very solid in TvZ at one point. I remember him losing code A RO24 against Symbol right after the patch (that must have been rough mentally to play a TvZ like two days after it, when you really didn't have time to adapt) and Symbol kinda took all the momentum that could still be in him.

Then they rest, train and prepare, and play their next BO1 game against their next opponent a few days later. Not having the time to prepare in your 2nd or 3rd matches (map and opponent may change) make the entire group format more volatile and cut-throat. Sigh, can't compare OSL now with the old OSL. Back then, we have stargirls, that's the best part. Now, everything need to take a backseat to LoL.
