it was a little less than 50% zerg players at the start, and now it's 50%. do you really think zerg is UP based on those stats?

if one race struggled this dreamhack, it's protoss, but that can be accounted to the relative low count of high level protoss players.

You misunderstand my statements and in the end we agree on the same conclusion: if there is one race to complain it's obviously protoss.
What I meant is that there is no surprise to see a bit more zergs considering the number of them in the beginining. Their percentage has actually almost not changed through the rounds, while T ratio increased more :
begining: P= 29.7%, T= 21.1%, Z= 48.4%
RO8: P= 12.5%, T= 37.5%, Z= 50%

I don't even really mind P being underrepresented. Without balance whining, Toss is just boring to watch, and I PLAY Toss. Here's hoping for TvZ all the way to the finals lol.

He beat forGG in WCS Europe and MMA I believe. And he finished fifth. Beating lucifron and maybe one other Korean I don't remember?

He didn't do well in wcs finals but he is a fantastic player and yes he is playing that well. Don't just blindly discount foreigners for no reason, he has done very well before dreamhack, even before the wcs Europe finals.
