The hybrid final should not be remembered.

12 people showed up and the production value was as high as a normal day of Proleague.

I meant production value. They had a full light show, a final intro that was similar to the old OSL/MSL videos, and they introduced the players by having them stand on pillars against their lane opponent. The pillars formed a star when they zoomed out. It was pretty rad.

Hopefully the Proleague finals get a similar treatment.

The last BW final had a laser show, confetti cannons, two squads of cheerleaders, a mascot dance off, fireworks and flamethrowers. I'd be very surprised if they didn't have good production for the first sc2 final after a six round build up.

those top 5 games of the week were fucking BADASS

the 2nd best Dear v Savage finale totally reminded me of a Brood War base race b/w some big players (think the zerg was Jaedong iirc?) when the zerg got the pylon snipe at the last second with his final two zerglings \o/

is it just me or has the metagame just gotten way more interesting recently? zerg still seems to be best race "in general", but I'm just happy to see crazier strats work in all matchups (due to new HoTs & changes etc) and not just see infestor broodlord dominate allthefuckingtime... plus ZvZ is a bit more interesting as well...
