He could try to attack or try to defend, anything would be better than stay in the middle of the map, by the time he decided what to do it was already over.

His mechanics are insane just like innovation, he did throw away more units than he needed to, but that will come with experience, and the mechanics in the other matchups are much easier than TvZ.
