However HerO is stronger than Crank by far. aLive will definitely be the underdog but I feel like his play is getting a lot better recently. Would like to see another WCS finals upset :D

Because calling the other person a "shitty gold toss" aka ad hominem is so good right? And by the way, watching you attempt to post that comment and failing twice before finally figuring out how to format your post and get it out of the quoted text was probably the funniest thing I've seen all day. Besides Paradox's argument of course.

This isn't last year's WCS and it shouldn't be treated as such. Location doesn't matter. These tournaments act as qualifiers only and its odd because there are three of them; whereas, there would only be one of them for the MSL/OSL. There`s still a lot more opportunity and you can see they borrowed a lot of pages in terms of formatting from let`s say the old OSL/MSL.

All three made a good attempt to adapt to life over here. Select is for all intents and purposes American anyway. More so than any other foreigner who has been 'adopted'

Edit: I'd be completely fine with this whole WCS thing if Blizzard didn't go on the whole "It'll promote the local scenes" thing. At the end of the day, it is just another tournament that will give the best player money. I think it actually does promote the scenes. As an American progamer i would work my ass off to represent my own region in WCS. If it was all american. I would be content with just being really good in my region and getting a spot. So the current system promotes the scene in combination with the best games.

I proved him wrong. I don't understand why it matters whether I'm high masters, mid masters, or low masters. I'm NOT gold. Not even close.

Enjoy the games and if you want to bitch about the format there are always blogs. I was just stating the fact that having this tournament being won by Koreans, a European and an Australian is stupid because of the whole America branding associated with it. Other than that I have no problems with the games what so ever, it's pretty cool to see that Alicia won and I am cheering for Ryung to take the whole thing as indicated by my Axiom flair.

None of the rest of the players here have the sustained prowess that he has shown throughout 2012 and 2013. ForGG and Alive could contend given that they have the championship experience but I think they have been slumping for too long.
