EPTIt puts a timer on the medivac, so that the medivac can't just hover around forever, waiting to drop the hellbats whenever. Hellbats are dangerous because of their splash, but are slow. With medivacs, they gain mobility and healing, and becoming really hard to fend off. By taking out of medivac, hellbats are much more manageable.
