I generally think it's awful for any format to play games where neither player can advance in the actual bracket. It's no fun to watch bronze matches. It'd be preferable if map scores or head-to-head scores had decided stuff.

Wow after watching only code s and proleague, this is like watching an entirely different league, to put it elegantly.
These two matches we have seen, has been horrible sloppy. I think TLO is devestatet, and Happy is just not in his Ace at all. Normally watching two EU pros play is high play.

Yea lets take bad games like these and then generalise the EU level of play. Seriously TL sometimes epitome of stupidity

Hope Happy will win against TLO.

Map scores or head to head to decide who goes to the season finals, are you insane? ;/
If you don't want to watch these matches, come back in 4 hours. It's scheduled so you can show up for the main tournament and watch it all at once.

To be fair, Proleague has had it's fair share of.. uhm... interesting games.

These matches are much more important than your average 3rd/4th-place matches though - they eventually decide who goes to the Season Finals. That's a big deal, and it wouldn't be fair to have TLO lose out because he got handed Mvp, arguably the best player in this league given preparation time, and was demolished. The only fair way here, in my eyes, is to have the players play each other to determine who is the strongest.

........... Please check the WCS system and what it means to come in 5th place and then tell me that you in the position of the player would like anything about your so called better system

yeah I like these matches, they definitely need to be shown
it's not like they are hurting anyone by showing them, if you wanted you could just skip them and check back in when the real semi-final bracket starts

Happy seems completely unpredictable.

I was discussing in the actual tournament, I do realize that it's meaningful in the overall league. But my point stands, I think it's the same when the bronze place match gives a higher amount of money than the 4th place. It takes something away from the excitement to watch games where, in the actual tournament they're playing, they can't advance. But thanks for your snarky tone : P

TLO should add roach/hydra's to his play in these longer series I feel. It's inferior to bane/ling/muta, but it does make these kind of cheeses more risky.
nvm. he held perfectly lol. What the hell XD

Oh god what happened to TLO??
nvm :D
