Kespa.

"Kespa" is a weird way to spell "wrists"

His "wrists" didn't stop him from competing in WCS, MLG or IEM. At this point using the "wrists" card is an over statement.

If you ever read his interviews where he talked about it, you know its not an overstatement.

He should do a surgery last year. Flash did it, and he's fine now.

I believe his problems are a lot more complicated than Flash's and recovery would take a lot longer, he talked about it a lot. He said he wants to ride out the rest of his career because if he takes a long break to recover he doesn't think he will be able to return to relevancy.

Different issue, the thing is with Mvp its not his wrists but way worse.
Something with his collarbone if i remember right.

SPINE DAMMIT

Well his neck to be more precise, some cervical spine condition where it is a C instead of inverse-C.

ggplay won the osl against iris in a 0-2 to 3-2 comeback. regarded as one of the best bw finals of all-time.

it was a glorious day, one game on python that showed how completely helpless a terran can be against zerg.

I do read his interviews. My point is that people make it like every loss he receives is only because of his "wrists" and that's ridiculous. Also, it still doesn't change the fact that he competed in those tournaments regardless of his "wrists".

People know his play could be better if he was healthy... so technically, they are right.

With so many people hyping up the finals, we all know it's going to disappoint. XD

Least hyped finals of leenock vs jjakji best finals ever. Most hyped finals sucked gg.

Which was the most hyped?

Hmmm, losira vs nestea, MVP vs life, MC vs Seed or genius vs DRG probably.

Losira vs. Nestea? What?

Most hyped finals have been MMA/Mvp, MMA/DRG, Squirtle/Mvp and Life/Mvp.

Losira vs nestea was like master vs apprentice and nestea's flawless season it got pretty damn hyped.

It's not like people hyped the finals up, though. They were just curious about how insane his streak would be. Plus, everyone knew Inca's horrendous PvZ wasn't going to net him a win. I don't think anyone expected it to go down quite like it did, though.

It's the type of spectacular failure that needs to never be forgotten.

Ummm...no

MVP had a very long and slow decline due to wrists, and came back many times simply because he was so good. Eventually, he met Life (who btw was not a kespa player) in the 2012 season 4 finals and simply couldn't summon out anymore of his godliness, he then fell down to Code B, and is now playing in Europe in Code A.

I am amused by this comment. Hehe.

lol not necessarily. So, Scarletts baneling bust in the GSTL worked because of MVP "wrists"? mmmmhhhmmm. Also, anybody with common sense will automatically know that a player who's healthy can play better then a player who isn't healthy but there are a lot of different variables that can be factored into this scenario as well.

The problem with Zerg is that when you cheese, you rely purely on your opponent to make a micro/defense mistake (regardless of the scouting/decision making overlook you're hoping for, which is the definition of cheese). There is no unit to micro at this point in the game for Zerg, so you can't really get "more" out of your units, so you're just hoping the other guy fails. That's why Zerg cheese will never really be a "thing".

i disagree, proper positioning, focus firing, and splitting is key to breaking terran defense with roach bane attack.

Well, obviously you can move your units and click on things, like in every other attack. But Terran can do (has to do? depends on how he's prepared I guess) so much more to defend and micro his units that what the Zerg does really amounts to nothing in the end.
Like when someone does a ridiculous marine split or starts medivac pick-up microing one fucking marauder who kills 5 roaches, Zerg can only watch it and be like "whelp, not that time I guess...".

Nor does it change the fact that he looks like, and I say this with the utmost respect for Mvp and his accomplishments, shit compared to how he used to play. He's a much more intelligent player now than before his injury, but he's visibly hurting at times and it isn't hard to make see in his play, especially during more intense games.

Soulkey vs. Innovation final.

Welcome to the Revenge of the Nerds final. Stars and STX get their time in the sun.

Can you name the last OSL/MSL champions for STX and Stars respectively?

Calm and GGplay?

correct

Calm > Kwanro in the WORST final of all-time
GGplay > Iris in the BEST final of all-time

lol I remember G1 of Calm vs Kwanro
5-Pool + double Sunken Colony vs. 12 Hatch and Calm held it by beating up everything with his drones and one Sunken

standard Kwanro game

Haha lol.

Symbol's games today reminded me of the glorious Kwan flow chart.

Haha that chart is glorious indeed.

A little off-topic but what happened to IM-MVP anyway? Sorry just got back to sc2 recently.

Kespa.

"Kespa" is a weird way to spell "wrists"

His "wrists" didn't stop him from competing in WCS, MLG or IEM. At this point using the "wrists" card is an over statement.

If you ever read his interviews where he talked about it, you know its not an overstatement.

I do read his interviews. My point is that people make it like every loss he receives is only because of his "wrists" and that's ridiculous. Also, it still doesn't change the fact that he competed in those tournaments regardless of his "wrists".

Then if this is the case, I suggest that all IM fans need to hit the Blizzard forums and start complaining that mech needs some major buffs (the legend of conan arnold schwarzenegger type)
