Babyknight is not playing 4:3 anymore. The widescreen winrate of Babyknight must be pretty wild. :D

I can't believe people are actually discussing this, I saw so many of the most respected pros go over to their opponent offering a handshake after a win for years, how could this ever be considered BM.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

At least over here in the states, when we're playing sports we act like men, and win or lose--we shake hands with our opponent..

Tell that to Lebron James when he just left after losing in the finals.

Oh come on now you have over 3k posts, you aren't new here.

So TL is not better than Reddit after all eh?

No and Reddit has downvotes.

I'd downvote you so hard if I could :p

Obviously he meant it as an offensive GG therefore he is bm and should be treated as such. -_-

ROFL

yeah sportmanship is a douchy thing now!

naniwa is a douche so you're a douche if you don't expect him to be a douche!

the circle is complete, now bitter naniwa fanboys can go round and round and never encounter the real world.

Reported - read my post

and reported for what?

laughing at your totally laughable implication that him refusing to shake a hand was just as bad as going there to shake a hand after a game?

hahahaha you guys are priceless.

For ignorance, stupidity and aggressive tone. See MorroW's tweet. I don't know where you are from, but in EVERY sports, loser do approach / initiate the handshake. A winner doing it, is bad sportsmanship JUST AS MUCH as denying it. I bet you won't last very long with <250 posts already acting like the biggest douche ever.

Actually, that's wrong, in the US from HS - college both teams/players shake hands no matter what.

Not only that, in EVERY SINGLE GSL match the winner goes to shake the loser's hand in his booth.

Actually, that rarely happens in GSL. They only enter the opponents booth when both players know each other.

Both did wrong, u r not supposed to initiate handshake after you win as it is can be seen as rubbing it in and u shouldn't decline a handshake even if it's initiated by winner of the match and u just lost.

In defence of Naruto, I am pretty sure from my terrible sporting career and much watching that the expectation is of the loser offering their hand, rather than the winner.

Think of it as in playing ladder I guess, the loser is the one who ggs out, when the obvious winner does it it can smack of gloating (although I don't think that was the case in this instance)

That's not true at all. In tennis, basketball, fencing, debating, etc. I've always had both sides approach each other. We have several examples from the SC2 scene like Mvp going to console MKP. Just think about MLG games, the winner often went to the loser's booth to thank him for the games. It's supposed to be mutual. It's nothing like an offensive gg as the game is already finalized.

And we have seen pro players give other pro player space. I cannot remember who the opponent was, but someone wanted to shake hands with HerO but saw he was devastated by the loss, I think crying. So he left the booth again. You know Naniwa is rage / on tilt after that. Just give him his space. If he wants to shake hands, he'll do, otherwise just move on?

I'd have a bit more sympathy for someone who is sad about their loss than someone who's just pissed off.
