I sort of interpret a handshake like "gg" -- it's the loser's choice.

I can see being riled up from losing and just not wanting to be pleasant.

Every time I've ever played sports both teams shook hands before and after the game.

i guess i am of old habit and still think the loser should approach the winner for the handshake. just like the loser should always say gg

but times change and after talking to some players who believe that it's just "fair play" to shake hands i dont deny it anymore @WWMorroW

Tod follows up his previous tweet.

thanks for the cheers but it's not the moment to flame naniwa, just feel happy for me! will try my best next game

Vortix being classy.

calm down, offering a handshake isn't bm, you don't need to protect your idol naniwa T_T

You seem very passive aggressive

What would give you the impression I even like naniwa?

Hehe, if you think it's bad mannered to approach the loser to shake his hand, how would you describe this:

;D

But FBH has been allowed to BM his opponents by the great gods of SC, due to its amazing celebration innit, the gods knew his celebrations would be amazing.

I would love to see more ceremonies like that!

He's saying he's depressed/angry that naniwa lost and needs any reason to save him from embarrassment and put the heat on Vortix.

At least over here in the states, when we're playing sports we act like men, and win or lose--we shake hands with our opponent..

It's still better if the loser is the one extended the handshake. If you do it as a winner it can be seen as an offensive GG if that makes any sense. I mean imagine you just lost and are really pissed and want to cool off for a moment and your opponent runs over to you with a big grin does that seem friendly ? For me it wouldn't seem like that.

this. also "we in the states act like men" - lost me after that to be honest.

Good for you, buddy.

I have to agree...You can't say "we in the states act like men" then expect people to take anything you say after that seriously.

Dude, how many times to I have to tell you people that it's just my opinion. I think that it's childish to get all upset and ill mannered toward your opponent after a game. I feel that accepting your loss and shaking your opponents hand is the thing to do as an adult (read:man). Every single sporting team I've ever been on (soccer, basketball, baseball) we shake hands. I can only talk from experience and therefore I said 'over here in the states'. I've never been to Europe so you cannot reasonably expect me to know every little customary detail..

It might be BM in Swedish Kindergarten, but no in Sweden in general. Swedish sportsmen shake hands like everyone else.

initiating a handshake is NOTHING like an offensive GG.

Offensive GG = i win, you lost, get out, you are just wasting our time now.

Initiating a handshake = thanks for the games and I respect your play.

They arent comparable at all.

Refusing a handshake, no matter who initiated just makes you seem like a tantrum throwing child. Which is what he has proven to be

Was about to make this point.

Sigh, I wish Nani wouldn't do this kind of thing all the time. He shall re-enter the wilderness watch some VODs of Korean Protoss players and come back again with some sick builds next tournament no doubt

Fixed that for you.

Nani actually uses a lot of his own builds, but he relies on hiding them for ages for them to do the business, i.e his build he unveiled at Dreamhack

His builds are at best slightly modified versions of builds he copies from all the top Korean Toss. He even admitted in his latest interview that he took that gateway into 4 gate with MSC build from sOs. The 2 Immortal all in was from Tails.
