Yeah, the whole thing still looks pretty disorganized. As fun as it is to watch naniwa rage, it's pretty sad to see no consequence for that kind of behavior in something like the WCS.

I really don't like TLO's approach to SC2.

Obsession, and the horrible habits obsession breeds has always beaten holistic approaches to improving in my experience.

But the former is less sustainable long-term. I mean, TLO did improve, right? Its not like he became a stephano level foreigner but his approach did help him, and it shows in his results.

TLO playing five games - loses the only one where he doesn't open with an all-in. Oh Europe, how high quality. ^^;

yeah, completly different from how GSL went today... nooooot

I have a feeling you were watching a different GSL, because the one I watched had 30 minute back and forth games with Innovation taking 8+ bases in some of them and the player who opened cheese every game not making it to the Ro8.

It´s not that different from Ryung´s GSL behaviour. Honestly, as long as it does´nt happen to often and he just rages at the game/strategy, not the player, it´s ok I guess.

Been such a good day for me in WSC. If now I could get Kas to kick Naniwa out of premier league it would be a perfect day:D

Call it cheese/all in or whatever you want if you can't stop it you don't deserve to win, it's as simple as that.

Man, it's always great to see someone create a build for a specific match against a specific opponent. That's something that we still need more of in SC2. Always happy to see TLO do things like that.
Even during difficult times, when I sat down to play the game, there were times where it felt like god has descended down and played [for me].

That's what GSL format is about. I don't understand people getting mad at TLO for it to be honest. It's how the format works and it favors people who practice outside of the ladder for specific builds/opponents.

You see some of the pro's playing their ladder history, and it's almost impossible to find a custom game, and most of them are just doing the same build over and over.

If they want to complain they have twitter and plenty of others stuff.
You dont have to bm your opponent and whine about balance in official game.
You say gg wp and thats it ! Is it so hard ?!!!
Stop with this silly argument pls. Drama is fun sometimes on streams or whatever but NOT in official game !

Foremost it favours people who think outside the box. Naniwa was caught with his pants down both games.

You realize Nani was rushing DT's originally right?

Yeah and you realize it's not an all in to open DT expand? Also,, TLO just confirmed in the skype call that he is much worse than Nani and had to all in to have a chance to win.

That is not quite what he said, but I am going to let you cool off a bit. You seem more angry than Naniwa.

Thanks, I'm mad as fuck because I love Naniwa, so naturally I'm going to hate as much as I possibly can on TLO right now.

A question. I like both of them and could have lived with either result just fine. Am I unnatural?
