Would be so ridiculously mad if I was a good player and lost to TLO.
Well he better get used to it. The EU zergs is going to crush him.

TLO is just such an awesome guy, and Naniwa is such a giant douchebag. I couldn't be happier with the result.

You realize Nani was rushing DT's originally right? Yeah and you realize it's not an all in to open DT expand? Also,, TLO just confirmed in the skype call that he is much worse than Nani and had to all in to have a chance to win. However it is a serious issue if your dts do no damage at all. Nani was close to breaking TLO's position, but didn't quite manage to. TLO is being nice, and while Nani may be strictly better in some ways like mechanics or refining a single build he is also considerably worse in some aspect such as adaption to non-standard play. These games were not standard, but they were real games and there was plenty of opportunities for Nani to show that he was the superior player and he did not. TLO played better in this series regardless of what you think of their skill levels.

Don't let him cool off... This is piss off the swedes night! TLO winning with 5000 pts!

Swarm Hosts are literally the worst unit, I random and even when I play Zerg I refuse to touch them out of disgust
Best of luck to Nani, hopefully still makes it through

Lol Yello, was the Kaelaris pic (jaime lannister one) in the OP already, or did you add it on? Haha, I did it during some break yesterday. ^^

I really hope TLO will have more success in HotS than WoL, I really like his mentality. Hard + intelligent workers should be rewarded!

I actually enjoy ToDs brutal humor, I sense he is trolling quite a bit as well.

didn't watch yesterday, did they do an interview with Mvp too?

Thanks, I'm mad as fuck because I love Naniwa, so naturally I'm going to hate as much as I possibly can on TLO right now.

So stoked to see TLO pwning nubs. Haters gonna hate.

Actually ToD is Jaclyn Bywater. Pretty cool character, but doesn't make it to the main show.

No point in raging vs. cheese builds. They are part of this game and actually make the entire thing more exiting. Nani should have at least known what was coming, and it was no surprise that TLO went for the same build on the same map that he beat him on before. TLO might think he is worse than Nani, but it doesn't matter, he chose the better strategies and profited from his opponents mistakes. It's a clean win for TLO, so congratulate him, please.

On May 03 2013 03:17 ramask2 wrote: I get it now. TLO turns into Joker. Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos.
There was an interview ages ago with him about his crazy style. He basically summed it up as enjoying the chaos, confusing his opponent, because he adapts and thinks faster.
People complaining about all-ins are hilarious; Naniwa tries a DT opening in a 0-1 game and TLO deflects it with almost zero losses before moving full all-in on a practiced build which destroys Naniwa's.
Respect the win, it wasn't coinflippy cheese, it was executed cleanly, and both players had chances to squander the victory or take it. TL's got a real stinking attitude about "how people should win games", especially foreigners.

I really don't like TLO's approach to SC2.
Obsession, and the horrible habits obsession breeds has always beaten holistic approaches to improving in my experience.

Agreed, I feel like a majority of the foreigners practice in a perfunctory manner without considering what they can improve etc.
