The downside of both the Widow Mine and the Tank is roughly the same except there's also the potential upside of managing to get Widow Mines to land hits on Broodlords which is a possibility albeit hard to do | ||

Way better than tanks  You can run the mines beneath the broods and try to fire at them. They have lower prio when unburrowed and the zerg player has to manually target them. | ||
