how did you get all of this info? i would like to pride myself on following the sc2 scene pretty well. (i watch all GSL and major tournaments or teamleauges like mlg, proleauge, etc.) and i have never heard of him. is he well known?

He wasn't playing on a smurf. He was using someone's account (he used to ladder boost them on SEA/NA too) and won the tournament and the money on this account. Other then that, he's been around. He was on Light before iirc?

Yeah, but to be honest, who knows if played seriously there. And yeah, it is good that HOTS changed the game and styles for so many players, a lot of them are getting a lot better.
