1000 players signed up and only half could play. It's not that anyone got hurt. Maybe some of you made the check-in in time but then again other might not.

Of course it has bit of a sour taste but in the end it doesn't really matter. After all there are 2 more cups left

@o)_Saurus Since I was home at my computer at about 17:33, I had 7 minutes to load up the check-in page and be ready to refresh at exactly 17:40. There's a very big chance of being one of the first 512 when being that ready.

Calm down and think about it.
At least don't act as if ESL just destroyed e-sports. If you checked the page on a regular basis you might have noticed the change. Now you didn't but others did and therefore they're now able to play and you not. Simple as that.

After all the change is not how a qualifier should be done but as I said - half the people could not play anyway.

edit/ I mean of course you have reason to be angry, don't want to argue about that. But my point is that recreating the bracket or not counting the qualifier at all like some here suggested has not really a justification.
And in the end we got 2 more qualifier to show 'em our casual skill (I'm not in either).

You are right, if I had no job I could play now. My bad. I think this is the way we should make any cup. We should just announce them one minute before they start. Then everyone can just join. Fastest player wins.
Seriously people like you... wtf?!

I had a fucking alarm @ 17:35 to ensure that I would be able to check in. The people who do an effort in order to get in should be able to do so, now a bunch of randomers who just happened to be refreshing the ESL site got through.

We need to get our stream report game on so that we get a better view of what is being shown where and when. It's nearly impossible to toggle through all of them.

Of course they didn't destroy e-sports, but it's very unprofessional. The reason that they have a set time for the check-in instead of just randomly opening it up during the day is so that we shouldn't have to constantly check their homepage.

So what you say is "refresh ESL page every ten minutes just to notice when there are changes"?! That's just ridicioulus. Not everybody is able to do so... how can you even think about saying something like you did?

And a top 6 at WCS US. He received a US invite to play in WCS NA, Demuslim as en European couldn't receive that invite. I'm not trolling, I just don't get the hate train against HelloKitty
