Wish SEA+China+Australia could have their own region so we can see talent like MacSed, Jim and XiGua and others play without severe disadvantages.

This is BO3 for every round right ? If yes the whole thing is going to take quite a while considering the Cup should be 100% full at 512 .
The normal Go4Sc2's already take quite a while IRC and alot of rounds there are Bo1.

Understandably, players like MC will only be participating in the Challenger qualifiers as they can't get into Premier this season, but finale and TAiLS have not yet participated in WCS Korea, so technically they could sign up to try and get into premier. The same goes for Sting. Arthur tried to qualify afaik.
The favourites in my opinion are as follows: Daisy Happy Feast LoWeLy XlorD Welmu NightEnD JonnyREcco
Sting played Code A qualifiers but lost to Sound in round 2, he played under the name AsA[/QUOTE]
Question: why would players who played in the first season of the GSL be allowed to participate in the upcoming Code A qualifiers in Europe? If they qualify, them wouldn't they be in the first season of Code A and hence participate at two different WCS events in a single season?

Sting already tried a qualifier so he's locked out for this season

Yes, but despite his talents, it's doubtful how well he can do, considering the lag. I'd much rather have him competing with people in his region, then qualifying for some offline finals event.

They're allowing Koreans to do this for the first season for some reason. MC and TaeJa will be doing it for EU/NA respectively as well, even though they played in PREMIER in the Korea WCS. It's actually pretty unfair, but at least, they're not allowed to try and get into Premier.
|
Code A is not really a tournament by itself; it's the promotion/relegation for Code S. So to be able to get into Code S next season, they must be allowed to play it.
|
european terrans :D (where are you demuslim!?!?!?!?)
|
If you pick the EU or NA region, you are locked for that region for the remainder of the year. However, Koreans who are in Code A/S are still able to play only for this first season because they qualified for it in the previous season.
However, they will have to switch the next season if they chose NA or EU region. Since Taeja and MC picked NA/EU, they they will play for the challenger league for that region but not premier because they are in Code S. No matter how well they do in Code S, they will not be able to play for Code S next season. They are stuck in NA/EU
This is what I interpreted from WCS Q&A

why is it in the middle of the night for europe?

With so many good players, it is impossible to say who is going to advance...

Why is there a age restriction? -_-

Just saw Tails signed up as well. Anyone knows where he will be playing from?
