ESL told us that they would allow us to stream to WCS_Europe2.
Problem here is that since we're not officially involved in WCS we would essentially be working for free. 2 casters, 2 production people, 8+ hours dedicated to a stream channel that isn't ours. As much as Kev and I would love to cast the games, of course our boss isn't going to allow it.
So the dispute was "Is NASL allowed to stream WCS Qualifiers to NASL channels?".
The answer to that question, at least for now, is "no".
Thank you for clarifying this. It's a pity you won't be casting, but from a business point of view it seems like a logical decision.

Ben Nichol @MrBitterTV 11s So @RotterdaM08 and I won't be able to cast WCS Quals today. Being told Blizz insisting that all English casts go to official WCS channels.
fuck blizzard! wtf! they just jelly because nasl stole nb1 english stream from the official wcs channel. Even though Kaeleris tries his best casting, I find him boring.
He was super pumped on day 1, but after almost 10hrs/6hr casting everyday alone, he's ready to collapse any minute.

So some people can see a bracket, others are already playing, I still can't manage to load the site though.
I have a freewin in first round so it's not an immediate problem but.. anyone else who can't see the brackets?

One guy at a desk doesn't compare to 2 casters, a studio and the occasional Stephano

I liked NASL for having 2 comps and 2 streams... content all the time.

I could see them earlier but they looked kind of bugged. Now I get an error message loading them.

fuck blizzard! wtf! they just jelly because nasl stole nb1 english stream from the official wcs channel. Came to the LR thread to see when the NASL cast would go up. For the sake of clarity: ESL told us that they would allow us to stream to WCS_Europe2. The answer to that question, at least for now, is "no". LOL....so it has nothing to do with not letting NASL cast, it is simply that you can't do it on the NASL channel, but have to use a WCS channel for a WCS tournament...DUH! If you guys were really so upset, cast it from home on the proper channel.
I'm shocked you guys thought you were going to get something out of casting something you aren't even a part of...your a community stream, you don't get paid!!! ffs, stop acting like it is someone stopping you from casting

They should give him a co-caster to at least give the man a break and more quality to the stream.

Yes it pains me to see people bashing him.
First, I like his casting.
Second, even if you don't : please realise he's been casting solo for 3 days now, 10 hours a day or something like that and he does some of the production to (adjusting the music etc).
Even if you find it "not as good" as dual casters with a full team behind, there's no need to bash. That's some serious dedication he's putting into this.

The Bracket is down for me now too, but I already played lol.

After yesterdays NASL cast its pretty disappointing that there won't be one this qualifier.

Blizzard let Koreans invade the EU and NA qualifiers and now they don't even let us see them get smashed by upandcoming eu players because NASL was too amazing yesterday. Sigh.
