That's what I'm using now to decide whether or not to buy a full pass or just watch the live streams as I can catch them.

Those bothered by the ESF vs Kespa debate, just ignore it. Whenever I see someone say that one side is better than the other, I think of Mvp and Flash and that they both said that there is no difference.
Why would a poster on TL have more knowledge than the best players from BW/SC2? They don't!

I refuse to call Losira, Kangho. Congrats to Taeja and Losira! Great games all around!

Vods are up! Remember there is 3 days free ticket!

Take THAT, Kespa!!

On another note, IM is having quite a nice streak. All of their players in code B made it except Seed and 2/3 so far made it to the ro16 in code S.
All that's left is Squirtle, and I secretly think that he may be a favorite to take this season :x
we'll see

we'll see Yeah Squirtle a genuine championship contender this season, but he's been that so many times before, haha.

KeSPa vs ESF indefinitely adds hype, just by the virtue that you are conscious of two factions at "war". It adds that X factor, the rivalry. Even if it exists or not, everyone is aware of the undertones behind each game. It adds....the Emeril. + Show Spoiler +
As long as people don't get too zany.........LET THERE BE ROMAN BLOOD...err nerd blood.

(who am I kidding, the Chargers fucking suck... )

That was one of the most amusing nights of Code S I've seen in a while. The ZvZ's weren't great, but there were tons of silly and amazing games, and Tastosis was on point.

jesus christ, how could Fanta and TRUE not squeeze through?

That belongs to: RorO, Flying, Innovation, Rain, Parting, Soulkey, and Flash. All of which are going to stomp competition. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. The whole Kespa vs eSF discussion is retarded either way. No it's not, it's awesome. Why so? Threads turn to shit super quickly. Why not support players from either side without giving a damn what organisation they're from? why have teams at all then? why have leagues? why have anything but individual players? because rooting for a team or even a league / organization is what sports is all about... So you cheer for Roger Federer's Tennis Club when you watch him play? Teams sure I understand. Esports organisations is a bit silly though. That's like saying "Go ATP players!" if there was anything else. There actually is a bit of an "old school" vs "new school" storyline to it though. KESPA guys mainly just came into the game, but are still kind of old school because they were the big dogs in BW. So they have a chip on their shoulder to be the big dogs here too. But the ESF guys are mainly BW castoffs who became the big dogs in SC2, so they have a chip on their shoulder because they don't want these upstarts coming in and taking their glory.
When players like Flash and Life play eachother and give an amazing finals, it just makes the storyline that much more intense. Life, the definition of the new school champion, playing against Flash, the established long-time champ. And if there are two sides, everyone wants to pick one and root against the other. (I love Life though, and have ever since he was on Zenex, but that's beside the point.)
I'd argue that has gone down quite a big . Alot of the eSF players especially the newer ones these days weren't BW players at all.

Just take yesterday matches : 2 KeSPA advances. Take today's match : 2 eSF advances. Group A and B ? 1 KeSPA and 1 eSF each.
It's fucking perfectly balanced !

I dont really post in LR threads but why are people bothered with ESF/KESPA diehard fans bashing each other again? Let fans be fans. Being a fan includes hating the rivals. God forbid fans be passionate towards their team and against the opposition.

but you see eSF fans hardly bash kespa players in comparison (just look at the posts after yesterday's thread, and after today's thread), and bashing based on organisations is stupid and toxic. things like SKT vs. KT or ST vs. IM make sense because they are in direct opposition, but there is no official kespa vs. esf tourney, it's all in fans' minds, and it makes following the thread toxic and turns people off from the games.

Alot of the eSF players especially the newer ones these days weren't BW players at all. Which just ups the ante even more. Young guys who know nothing of their own history coming in and trying to usurp the rightful throne of the Trail-blazing Masters. Old players whose glory is fading coming back to take on the world on a do or die mission to reclaim the Sacred Title!
Can't teach an old dog new tricks? Try telling that to Flash! Young pups don't have sharp fangs? Try telling that to Life!
Ballsy recruits versus hardened veterans. Young Bucks taking on the Old Bulls. Blood will be spilled. Tears shall be shed. Lives changed. Will a new Emperor be born, or will the Ancients rise to heights yet unknown? Tune in next time on Dragon Ball Starcraft to find out!
Any way I look at it, it's badass. Who cares if it's all made up anyway? It makes it more exciting.
(Though people should be more respectful and whatnot)
