Lol @ the "Intentional 3rd Base" option. Yeah right. I'm pretty sure HuK's 3rd is always a misclick.

Uh, is Coach Park deciding who plays? If so, why is Huk playing? Maybe he's under pressure from EG management.

huk did well in inhouse games (he tweeted that)

Shit. The rest of the team must be doing really badly.

Or maybe, you know, HuK is actually doing well? Hey, its HotS, rushy all in stuff is really good right now.

free <Akilon Wastes> Oz --- Oz is a PvP Master but he always manage to lose this matchup so Woongjin 1-0
Light <Naro Station> HuK --- I really want HuK to win but foreigner does not simply come to proleague and win vs korean Woongjin 2-0
sOs <Fighting Spirit> JYP --- JYP got this Woongjin 2-1
Aria <Korhal Floating Island> Jaedong --- Jaedong fighting!! Woongjin 2-2
Soulkey <Bel'Shir Vestige> HerO --- HerO look like he is not in good shape right now Woongjin 3-2
ZerO <Whirlwind> aLive --- so as aLive Woongjin 4-2

I got a small question, if it comes to an ace match, is the ace player going to be a player who already played a match?

I'm not sure why people are so easily writing off EGTL. I know HerO hasn't played his best recently, but he is still full capable of beating Soulkey. JYP's PvP is actually pretty good, if you've ever watched his stream. aLive could easily win his match, And Oz might be the most underrated player on the team. I don't see JD winning a ZvP right now, or HuK beating any Korean of Code A status or better. But this could very well go 4-2 EGTL.

Well the way I look at it Free is a pretty damn solid player and has at least a 50% chance vs Oz, huk has done terribly in SPL and Light is pretty good, SOS is one of the better protosses in the game and definitely has the advantage, Soulkey is simply better than HerO though not so much that he has no chance but is at a great disadvantage IMO, ZerO is very strong and Alive isn't nearly as good as he used to be so is at a big disadvantage IMO, and Jaedong who I think will win is vs protoss whichhe has not done well again. All in all I see every game as even or favoring woongjin except Jaedong who still could lose himself.

I'll give Oz a 55/45 chance vs Free. You're downplaying JYP way too much. The only reason JYP isn't a Code S Protoss is because he can't win a PvT to save his own life. In PvP and PvZ though he is extremely good. I wouldn't be so fast to say Soulkey is straight up better than HerO. They're both very good, for sure. I would put them relatively even, based on HerO's history vs Z and the fact that Soulkey, while a great player, has yet to do a whole lot. I feel bad for JD, because he kinda hosed. He's really struggling against Protoss right now, and I would be surprised to see him win a ZvP. And you downplayed aLive almost as much as JYP. For what? Because he hasn't won anything recently? If I remember right, wasn't he a single Bo3 from being back in Code S? aLive may not be what he once was, but don't underestimate him; he's still a very very strong Terran.

It can be anyone on the roster (because there have been cases in bw at least of players not playing in the match before that came out as ace) but it's typically someone who already played

sadly, your opinions are quite outdated
as much as i'd like to see EGTL win, free is insanely good now, sos is the best protoss in proleague, and zero is way better than alive.
can i get my estro logo back pls

I'm just going to say that sOs is one of the best kespa players, JYP is not one of the best esF players, so sly has a clear advantage. Also it is not a matter of underestimating people, just summing up their abilities in my opinion and giving my opinion on who is most likely to win. I didn't call them sure wins.
